About this deal
I was able to get through a full day of use, with 90Hz active and around 3hrs 30mins of screen-on time, with more than 50% in the tank. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting).
The front-facing camera, which has been placed in a central punch-hole recess, has a resolution of 16 MP. A similar picture can be seen in the graphics tests, but the differences are even more serious here. However, the Moto G22 also has positive features, such as the good build quality, the very long battery runtimes, and the low waste heat.Provides all-around protection for mobile phones and prevents the phone from being scratched when it is dropped, bumped and shocked with cushioning that ensures protection.
It looks reasonably clear in general navigation, but hold the phone next to a bog-standard 1080p rival and you’ll notice the difference – especially with web content and photos. An average Geekbench 5 result of 171 single-core and 943 multi-core falls way short of rivals costing just a fraction more. There’s a hint of overexposure on brighter elements, but in general the auto-HDR does a competent job of balancing light and shade, and Motorola’s colour science doesn’t do anything too wacky or unnatural.Deviations of the entry-level smartphone are clearly visible in the detailed GPS record, but navigation tasks should still be possible with the Moto G22. The case has a slim design, the back part is ultra-transparent and scratch-resistant, with perfect cutouts for speakers, headphones, and a camera for hassle free usage.
