I did enjoy the story and will definitely continue with the series but that could be due to a nostalgic enjoyment of the Disney version of Aladdin as this does follow the major plot points of that movie very closely for the most part. Bc this book is high fantasy, all romances are slowburn but you won’t be bored with everything else in the world building.Literally don’t care how long the pipe down his pants is, with the way he talks about it and his face it’s just giving small dick energy. It's packed to the brim with twists on the classic elements that you know and love from the fantasy genre: a competition for the hand of a princess, a cursed kingdom, a forbidden love with devastating consequences, and tales of monsters, gods, and immortals all woven together. All of the game design, programming, and balance is done by a single person, so every bit of feedback is super helpful! All he talks about is his cock, how is Affinity is seduction, how he is god’s gift to women and how his face saved him because he is so pretty.

Not surprising from these authors, this book does end on a cliffhanger, and it’s making me desperate to get my hands on book two!Look, no one is more disappointed than I am that I didn't absolutely love this book especially after I loved the prequel novella so much that I gave it 5 stars. Poor Cassius with a stick up his ass that got beaten into him ever since he joined the palace and gave up his life to the kingdom and therefore the royal family.
