About this deal

As I wrote in my review, "The series farewells its characters from a place of truly knowing them, inside and out, and how much they mean to each other, the audience, and the actors who've played them.

As instantly recognisable as abbreviations may be to someone who watches that show, to someone who doesn’t, it is just a meaningless collection of letters that have to be looked up.With Jim Field Smith and Mo Ali directing, and Idris Elba in the lead, this ridiculously fun Apple TV+ series is about a plane hijacked on its way to London. As a drama, The Last Valley is not remarkable; as a reminder of what happened in Central Europe, 1618-48, and shaped the future of Germany, it reads an interesting lesson.

Catherine is raising her grandson, Ryan, who was born due to her daughter being raped by Tommy Lee Royce. Each season of For All Mankind ends with a time jump and a musical choice that signals the turning of pop culture toward a new sound or a new phase. To be Certified Fresh, seasons must score at least 75% on the Tomatometer, with at least 20 critic reviews (five of those from Top Critics). This revelation places Catherine at the centre of the investigation as a possible suspect while Royce continues to torment her from inside his cell with the help of his new accomplice Frances (Shirley Henderson). Critics Consensus: Sharon Horgan and Michael Sheen turn in some of their best work yet in Best Intentions, a frank depiction of any parent's worst nightmare that is equal parts graceful and harrowing.Cawood, played with steely obsession by Lancashire, clearly equates the kidnapped girl with her own daughter: she lost one, she's not going to lose another. We were in the midst of the Vietnam War, and here was a story about the Hundred Year War in Germany, set in the Middle Ages.

Saying goodbye to Moordale was an emotional time, as these long-loved, scattered characters had a lot on their plates. Over four seasons, Apple TV+’s For All Mankind has imagined an alternate history in which the Soviets got to space first, nuclear fission changed everything about the world’s energy industry, and NASA played an outsize role in American politics, economics, and pop culture. The Nittany Lions seek a momentum-builder on Thursday night as they competed tough but ultimately fell to No.Critics Consensus: Centering Norman Reedus' fan favorite character in a fresh setting, Daryl Dixon can be a wobbly shot across the crossbow but still gives The Walking Dead faithful plenty more to chew on. The programme was written by Sally Wainwright, produced by Karen Lewis, and directed by Euros Lyn, Sally Wainwright and Tim Fywell. Critics Consensus: The hunter becomes prey in You's London-set fourth season, which shows some wear as this premise begins to outlive its believability -- but Penn Badgley's sardonic performance continues to paper over most lapses in logic. It's a Sin, Years and Years , and Doctor Who wizard Russell T Davies brought us one of the more fun series on TV this year, based on a real story. It just fits with the story that a younger man knows a more current recording and is sharing it with her.

Ryan is also having problems at school with his PE teacher, Rob Hepworth, who has kicked him off the football team following accusations of misconduct. Critics Consensus: Boldly going where this hallowed franchise has gone before with effervescent execution, Strange New Worlds' superb sophomore season continues to recapture classic Trek with modern verve. The whole cast is superb, from Moseley as Amy enduring her own colleagues' loaded bullshit and white fragility to Kemi Lofinmakin as the effervescent Aunty Lola, to Demmy Ladipo as Kwabena's melodramatic cousin Maurice and Rachel Adedeji as his grounded wife Funmi going through pregnancy. Taking place seven years after the events of the second series, Catherine is coming close to retirement age and has plans to go on a hiking expedition to the Himalayas.

Their relationship is one for the ages, brimming with the Bridgerton yearning and courting we all adore, and topped with a strangers-to-soulmates arc that'll tug at your heartstrings. Sarah Lancashire stars as Catherine Cawood, a police sergeant in a small town in Yorkshire where drunkards, drug addicts and teenage pregnancies are a way of life. Elba plays Sam Nelson, a corporate negotiator who tries to bargain with flight KA29's villains all the way to the final humdinger of an episode. The aughts time period makes for various indie and alt-rock moments from the Strokes, Gorillaz, Modest Mouse, Hot Snakes, and Cat Power. Since then, it has been released on DVD through three different labels: by Anchor Bay Entertainment on November 16, 1999, by MGM Home Entertainment on May 25, 2004, and by Kino Lorber Studio Classics (on both DVD and Blu-ray) on June 23, 2020.
