About this deal

Though it does have some video content creation potential, it's not enough to dethrone Nvidia's 4000-series GPUs, so it isn't a viable rival in that sense and wasn't tested as such. Only draw back is what i mentioned, the driver optimisation, but the only issues i had was with Diablo 4 which was fine but then showed display corruption at one time, but that was a beta driver for it, as i say they'll need to work on stuff. ASRock adopts precise screw torque when assembling its graphics cards to optimize the cooler mounting pressure to improve thermal efficiency while avoiding damage to GPU die.

Based on review's so far if I was putting a budget/mid-tier system together along with a 1080P display I'd definitely consider a punt on Intel's new cards. The introduction of new types of display-sync technology is another trend that has been popular in recent years. There weren’t any games open during the test or anything else open in the background, and we are, as of yet, unsure why the card was idling so high. Overall, the software is cleanly laid out and provides a good amount of information, including the card's active power draw and usage specs.

We measure the entire system power consumption using a Kill-A-Watt meter in a synthetic test and a game test to gauge power consumption from cards in various scenarios. The card feels like a well-made, premium card should, and it even has a ring of RGB LEDs that you can control by connecting the card to a USB 2.

I used it for gaming, content creation, and other general-purpose use with varying demands on the card. This could be due to its large memory pool giving it an edge at higher resolutions that the other cards lack. Its flagship is sold under the name “Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition,” but from what Intel tells us, this will not truly be a limited-run card; it will continue to be sold for some time. The system also contains 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM clocked at 5,600MHz, a 240mm Corsair Hydro Series H100x water cooler, and a Corsair RMx Series RM850x 850-watt 80 Plus Gold power supply. The Arc A770 Limited Edition is Intel's first credible effort at breaking into the discrete graphics market.Xe HPG microarchitecture is engineered from the ground-up to deliver high performance, efficiency, and scalability for gamers and creators. this card is easily a 3060 8gb level of performance on dx11 and dx12, as long as you make sure you are on the latest drivers.

Driver improvements and better consistency are still definitely needed, but the Arc A770 is a very promising card and may well improve like fine aged wine. Experience supercharged gaming and cutting-edge creation experiences across the Intel Arc A-series family. In synthetic benchmarks, the A770 performed fairly well against the current crop of graphics cards, despite its effectively being a last-gen card.

Intel, the Intel logo, and other Intel marks are trademarks of Intel Corporation or its subsidiaries.Even the more powerful AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT consumed less power during the tests, and that card performed considerably better. It's hard to convey from just the photos of the card, but the black finish on the plastic shroud of the card has a lovely textured feel to it. as real users, posing a threat to a site’s security, so the site sometimes runs random security checks.
