About this deal

In my opinion, the only thing I would improve on the PAX-1 would be *the way the oven roasts the herb only on one side*— and you have to open it, stir it before it roasts the rest that’s close to the battery. But from watching this video it doesn’t look like they fixed that problem! Finally the material looks all “burnt”, brown colour, after the system heats once. Is that normal or is the material done? That was more than 2 questions I think ha Pax 2 Battery Life– The battery claims to provide up to 30% more usage from the previous model and I’ve found that I get about 90 minutes per charge on the Pax 2. This is above average for most portable vaporizers, and the Pax 3 has even better battery life.

Once the lights turn green, you can start taking some puffs on the PAX 2. If you’re using the flat mouthpiece, place your lips around the edge of the vape, over the hole in the mouthpiece. Start with some short, light draws, like sipping on a cup of hot tea. Think that the Pax 3 has no hidden features like the Pax 2 Vaporizer? Well, think again! Stealth Mode Is Great to Try if You Want a Discreet Vape The world’s most reliable and highest performing conductive heating technology smart vaporizers. Cutting-edge technology and materials of the highest quality and reliability. That’s why all PAX vaporizers are identifiable with a unique engraved serial number that guarantees origin and traceability. I think you may end up using and consuming more material (due to oven size) when compared to combustion, but it is a cleaner experience. Furthermore, if you want to conserve your material, the pusher will work with a relatively smaller amount, but the vape volume with be smaller as well. The first few draws of each session with the PAX 2 produce flavourful, smooth vapor. The vapor is visible and both those who prefer to lightly sip or take long draws will be pleasantly surprised at the amount of vapor produced right off the bat.Pax 2 Mouthpiece Options– I really like the discretion and concealment offered with the flat mouthpiece design. The mouthpiece is completely different from the original Pax model and it sits flush with the top. There’s basically no way that you could tell what it was because it doesn’t have a mouthpiece.

Efficiency Mode is a perfect mode for the right session style. It optimises things for a consistent level of vapour production all throughout your session. This mode will act really similar to the default settings, but there is one crucial difference. It will automatically increase the temperature of the oven. When you use the app to select Efficiency Mode, you will also enable the temperature selection of ‘Ramp’ on your PAX. With a 4-piece grinder one thing you could try is holding it upside-down when you grind, this will mimic the action of a 2-piece model which can usually help get your herb a little finer.

PAX 2 Hidden Features, Easter Eggs and Party Mode

After charging I filled it up with finely ground herb, turned it on and was able to get several lite to medium draws but the mouth piece became uncomfortably hot. I turned it off for awhile and tried a second session about 1/2 an hour later, but got little to no vapor until I turned it up to high setting and than there was a little more vapor, but again the mouth piece got very hot. However, What’s my Vape Temp did some probe testing and provided some valuable insights on this front. Because the PAX uses motion sensors to ensure the heating chamber is not wasting energy, the temperature settings fluctuate. They don’t include a USB wall adapter in the retail box (they’ll have one you can add-on) but these adapters are pretty universal so chances are you have one lying around somewhere already (have an iPhone?). If you happen to have the original PAX already the wall charger that’s included with that one can plug into the new model’s charger as well (see picture below). My original unit is pretty old though, I believe if you got yours more recently the charger looks a little different. Performance is pretty damn good considering how small this thing is. The amount of vapor you can get and the quality of it is definitely above average for a portable, and it does perform a little better than the original (when it’s clean :P). I really like how it performs well with both short and long draw durations, this allows people with different draw styles (like my wife and I) to both have a good experience when vaping together. There are two types of PAX users: those who sip, and those who rip. If you’re a sipper, the new model produces more vapor from a short ~2-4 second draw than the original, which is a bit above average. My wife is a sipper, and she was already happy using the original model, so she’s very happy with the new one (happy wife, happy life). Rippers will be pretty satisfied too, generally the longer you pull the more vapor you’ll get and it stays nice and smooth. Either way, drawing slowly is the key to great results.

To switch to a different mode, just rotate your unit another three times using the method shown in the video. Here are the different modes that can be accessed via the rolling method: Classic Party Mode Hey yea the draw is definitely more restrictive than most others, one of the things I’ve found that affects it is how the oven screen is positioned – if the screen is pressed all the way down to the bottom it could restrict airflow, it’s better if you leave the side where the opening is a few millimeters up off the bottom. Remember…the better the weed, the better the vape and each heat setting activates different cannabinoids, so don’t miss em:) My husband and I have adored our Pax2s for 2 yrs.

Very fine grind

Anyone wondering how to use a Pax 2 vaporizer should know that it couldn’t be any easier. The one press mouthpiece technology with the PAX 2 makes it very simple to operate. When first using the unit, the LED petals may seem a bit confusing and random but they are actually pretty intuitive: purple means the unit is heating, green means its fully heated and ready for vaping, and blue means it’s entering ‘cool down’ mode to conserve battery. It’s a very well-rounded, good looking, good performing vape. It has also proven to be extremely reliable, I’ve received virtually zero defect complaints and the original unit shown in my review still works like new.
