I appreciate that I am not the X-factor or Britain's Got Talent Material, but I can't be that bad, can I? They are lovely songs, but if you have to listen to them several dozen times a day, then you start to wish you were elsewhere. Little man instantly recognised familiar songs from his favourite shows such as Baby Jake, Mr Bloom’s Nursery, In the Night Garden, Raa Raa the Noisy Lion and Waybuloo. On the first listen there were some tracks that she wanted me to skip – mainly the themes for programmes that she doesn't know or watch – but all the ones that related to programmes she knew she was thrilled by. I am very fond of CBeebies so I was mostly happy with this product, only some of the song selections let it down.

Gigglebiz and Rastamouse are already massive favourites from days of yore- arguably in the same league as Thundercats, Jamie and the Magic Torch and Chorlton and the Wheelies for Best Ever Kids Theme. I bought the 2010 version of this album first, but my 19 month old daughter noticeably fretted more in the car when songs she did not know came on. I went away for a few days recently, being a normal person (OK, one with a bit of a nail polish habit), rather than a mummy.As well as being great for little man to dance to I think the fact that the album is a compilation of different styles of music it introduces him to different music. I think in time as little man enjoys this album more and more the will enjoy listening, singing and dancing to most of the songs even ones that he is not currently familiar with. We have a couple of CD’s that the kids enjoy, namely Hands Up by Justin Fletcher and a Nursery Rhyme album, also sung by Justin and having listened to them millions many times, I was starting to wish for a change. This DVD is the best DVD ever you could purchase for your children for home and long journeys in the car.
