But would it live up to the hype? I have heard many a good thing about air fryers in general, my mum and one of my sisters have them so it made sense that I would want to try too! It's digital and you can select from a setting and other buttons by simply pressing the touch panel. You can turn on the air fryer using the central power button. Then, it's just a case of selecting your preferred setting and adjusting the temperature and time if needed. Weighing in at 4.5 kg, it’s easily portable and perfect for small kitchens or for those who value countertop space. Additionally, it comes with a recipe booklet of 100 recipes, catering to a broad range of tastes and dietary preferences.The basket and cooking area is small but plenty big enough for 2 people. There is a bigger 5.5l model for larger families. I have been using Frylight instead of oil for things that need it, such as homemade chips and mini roast potatoes and found I don’t need to coat as much as I would in my oven.

I left it to run for the first part of the 25-minute preset function and then removed the basket. The pork steaks were cooked perfectly as were the potatoes. This was good to see as I turned the steaks over; I managed to lose some potatoes underneath. It didn’t affect how they cooked at all. Regardless, I believe this Cosori 5.5L model is a decent ai fryer. It’s simple to use, easy to clean, and, most importantly, cooks delicious food with little to no hassle. If you’re new to air fryers or looking for a replacement, this one is definitely worth considering.Its sleek, dark grey design looks great on my kitchen countertop. It’s light enough to move about if you need to store it in a cupboard when not in use. But honestly, with all the recipes you will make in this air fryer, it will likely stay out on the side daily.

It’s also worth noting that the basket size is ample for two to four people, I often make three to four portions of a recipe. You can easily cook various foods, from chips and meatballs to a whole gammon joint.

Although Cosori is not a UK air fryer brand they are a reliable name that have been producing air fryers for a number of years. Healthier & Faster Cooking: With rapid air circulation, COSORI air fryer provides you with faster cook and up to 85% less fat food while the same tasty and crispy texture using little to no oil On the downside, this model doesn’t come with WiFi connectivity and can’t be linked to the VeSync app. Personally, I don’t see this as a problem; I rarely use the WiFi feature on the air fryers I have with it as a function.
