About this deal

The two discs don’t step on each other’s toes too much either. The original DVD is more focussed on contributions from the filmmakers, with Fincher, Douglas, Savides, Beecroft and Haug providing a feature-length commentary as well as commentaries on some behind the scenes footage and featurettes. Behind The Scenes featurettes – Dog Chase, The Taxi, Christine’s House, The Fall (with optional commentary by Fincher, Douglas, Savides, Beecroft and Haug) Starting with The Most Dangerous Game (1978), easily the most violent entry, our protagonist finds himself in the crosshairs of big business, Yakuza and the police as their lies and corruption escalate and threaten to capture Shohei in a web of lies. Presented in a director-approved remaster, the twisty mysteries of Fincher's pulse-pounding paranoiac puzzle are explored in an exciting array of new and archive bonus features. restoration from the original negative by The Criterion Collection supervised and approved by director David Fincher and cinematographer Harris Savides

Screenplay: John Brancato, Michael Ferris, Andrew Kevin Walker (uncredited), Larry Gross (uncredited) Though I’m happy all of the supplements made it from the LaserDisc I was hoping for some newer stuff. This aspect does disappoint but nothing else about the disc does. The video and audio for the film are both stunning, and for those two reasons alone the disc comes as a very high recommendation for those wanting to own the film on Blu-ray. This is without a doubt the best I’ve seen the film in a very long time. Welcome to the Game was meant to be a small side project of Reflect Studios to their much bigger upcoming title, Rides with Strangers. Play Online and Customize Your Setup Welcome to the Game is a puzzle horror game by Reflect Studios, famous for previously developing Rides with Strangers. What will be at this year’s Game Awards? In terms of new reveals, organizers haven’t started teasing which games (or video game-adjacent TV shows or movies) might have reveals. But the 2022 Game Awards was a big one, with announcements and reveals from Death Stranding 2, Hades 2, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Judas, Final Fantasy 16, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie. There were other surprises, including appearances from Al Pacino and The Last Of Us stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Illustrated collector’s booklet featuring new writing on the films by Hayley Scanlon and Dimitri Ianni Made in between Seven and Fight Club, David Fincher’s edge-of-your-seat thriller The Game remains arguably his most underappreciated film, bolstered by an exceptional star performance by Michael Douglas. Standing at 6 feet tall and having an effortlessly cool demeanour, Yusaku Matsuda stood head and shoulders above his contemporaries in every sense of the term. His baby face masked by the always present sunglasses and a slender physique gave manga and anime artists their template for the next two decades, for he truly was the embodiment of characters like Spike Spiegel ( Cowboy Bebop) and Kenshiro ( Fist of the North Star)(Editor: Aokiji from One Piece, too). Yusaku Matsuda was too cool to be real, and never was he cooler than in Toru Murakawa’s Game Trilogy. You are allowed to miss the apple and shoot the arrow above your friend into the wall, but as soon as you hit him you have to start all over again. So never aim too low!
