all in all, this book is probably good for a starter veggie, but im not, so i need cookbooks with a bit more bite to them. I’d also add more chilli for a little bit more punch but that’s totally down to personal preference. I can accept that for someone new to plant based cooking there will be a few ingredients which may seem unusual but it is a learning process for us all especially at the start.

The recipes I have tried so far have worked out so I am assuming they have been thoroughly tested before inclusion. I get the impression that this is targeted towards new plant-based eaters but it will easily appeal to longer-standing vegans too, there really is something for everyone in this book. The books featured on this site are aimed primarily at readers aged 13 or above and therefore you must be 13 years or over to sign up to our newsletter.Everyone’s oven cooks differently of course so I can only comment on how the recipe worked in mine and you may not have the same problem. So impressed, the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the use of vegan cheese - its gross not for me, I knew this before this cook book.

I would have found this inspiring if I were new to veganism/vegetarianism, but I’ve been eating this way for a decade now and have cooked all of these kinds of recipes (or a variation of them) before.
