I’m not a huge Five Star fan, and I find this one pretty dull, though some of the instrumental hooks are quite interesting. The album was the first in the series to include radio remixes of some tracks, rather than the originals.I do wonder whether the other A-ha and Simply Red tracks that turned up on Hits compilations would have found their way onto Now albums instead had there not been a Hits Album out at the time for them to be included on. I never got how A-ha, Simply Red and Pretenders managed to be included here given how both group were on labels probably more commonly associated with the “Hits” series. fm, compilation album tracks appear under the name of Various Artists erroneously because the individual artist is not listed in the album's ID3 information. years on and my fondness for the selections has grown – so much so that I think it’s skipped past Now 4 in the rankings.
