Montale Arabians Tonka smells to me like a more refined and nuanced version with more complexity and contrast.

I could feel it in my nose, that was a newer one too, not used to having a pressure in my nose while smelling something like this. It’s mainly a sweet perfume from the Sugar Cane… vanillic most likely from the Tonka, but perhaps it does contain some additional vanilla… it’s also spicy from the Saffron… warm and cozy from the Amber… and with the most amazing Musk envelope, not animalic, just powdery and delicious. I think this would be very good for those who very much like tonka over the DNA of Montale fragrances. In the dry-down the strong woody character of the oud is made less overbearing by the floral scents of the rose which remain in the background, while the peculiarities of the coumarin and tonka beans already emerge preponderant, accompanied by the sugar cane which smooths it out and softens its bulky roughness, while amber and musks give an oriental and exotic appeal to the whole.I find myself galloping on a thoroughbred at dusk, the animal's body gives off a humid heat that pervades the air and creates a massive, imperious scent trail. Regarding the Oud… yes, it does have a little, very faint and very distant, it won’t bother anyone, just blends amazingly with the Saffron to create an incredible spicy aura.

The base is enveloping, creamy, round, sensual, the Tonka bean protagonist amalgamates very well with the sweet hints of sugar cane and the undoubted oriental sensuality of amber, the white musk with its reassuring warmth frames the whole blend giving it great olfactory performance.These items are purely sources of inspiration and do not claim to be exact replicas of any other fragrances or original creations. Surprisingly smells like every generic Cashmeran scent despite not containing any, and will probably cause olfactory blindness if anyone gets in the car with you.

I had MCB in the past and I remember it being more vanilla-heavy, whereas in this fragrance the sweetness comes from a more burnt sugar-like note (similar to BR540).Initial orange notes enhance in the floral part formed by the absolute of violet and flowers of magnolia, accords of plum complete.
