This is once again derived from English wine grape skins, this time from Pinot Noir, which is then blended with a neutral grain spirit. The flavour profile is a fusion of bright citrus and soft, ripe summer berries with the classic notes of juniper and floral aromatics. At Chapel Down, which prides itself in offering ‘a wine for everyone’, you’ll also find
dynamic winemaker Josh Donaghay-Spire doing impressive things with Chardonnay,
and pushing the boundaries with sparkling wines.” Chapel Down Pinot Noir Gin brings together winemaking expertise with modern distillation techniques. Since it launched over a decade ago, No. 3 Gin has won a whole host of awards for its great taste – but equally commendable is the beautiful bottle design. The sleek bottle has a hexagonal shape, with each side representing one of the gin’s six main ingredients, and showcases the brand’s signature key symbol – a nod to Berry Bros. & Rudd’s home on St. James Street. If you’re buying the gin as a present, jazz things up with the vibrant gift box. The brand's head winemaker, Josh Donaghay-Spire, says the new gin is infused with the characteristics of pinot noir, including juniper, coriander, dried red berries, rose buds, citrus fruits, rosehip, angelica and grains of paradise. "The result is an aromatic pink gin with delicate aromas of red berries which perfectly balance the juniper led palate and refreshing citrus finish," he adds.

A fine example of an English sparkling wine, primarily made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc grapes grown in vineyards across the South East. The Chapel Down winery is located in the beautiful town of Tenterden, situated in the heart of the Kent countryside. We produce a complete range of English sparkling wines using the Traditional Method. The same method used in Champagne, but with fruit sourced from the South-East of England. With a huge haul of worthy wines Chapel Down has always been a hero winery in the UK
and I am constantly amazed at the diversity and excellence of their portfolio.”
Matthew Jukes, The Daily Mail. Freshness and vibrancy are key features which I look for in wines and English fruit really delivers on this, whether it be unique aromatic white wines, classic fizz, or a twist on a rich Chablis-esque Chardonnay. Balance is at the heart of every good wine and my aim, in the vineyard and the winery, is to strive for perfect balance.”
