The base of the doll stand originates from Winter Ball Beauty Cloe, but has foot pegs similar to the Rock Angelz stands. I am beyond amazed by the quality of these pieces and hope this truly sets a new standard for the Bratz moving forward. There is nothing else set to come out in Fall 2022, but Spring 2023 doll releases are just around the corner!
With her extravagant packaging, slicked-down hair, and hard-to-use clothing, Felicia feels like a doll that was never meant to be removed from her box.
Unlike the typical trapezoid shape that most Bratz dolls employ, the Mowalola dolls have an asymmetrical box in which one half of the trapezoid is shorter than the other, with the other half being taller; the character names printed on the plastic shell of each box start off large on the shorter end, then progressively get smaller as they continue up to the packaging’s tip.

I'm not sure what the norm is for Bratz dolls these days, but I tend to think of rubbery, unjointed arms when I think of this brand. Another small problem with the jacket is that the insert pin on the right side of the zipper is not made out of plastic. This re-imagined doll stand was introduced with the Cult Gaia dolls, and I must say that it is one of the most useful stands that Bratz has come out with.Both of the Mowalola dolls have new and unique screenings with features previously not seen on any Bratz dolls. I've spent the last week or two reflecting on my year and trying to decide how to get 2023 off to a good start. Now this would be a better argument for Mowalola, since clothing and electronics are very different categories of products, except for the part where it's their logo that's pretty much traced pixel for pixel. The stand is too short for Felicia, so it's included entirely for the purpose of holding up the fashion form or mannequin.
Nylon is another premium hair type that can be easily restyled with heated hair tools and is less likely to degrade over time like saran and polypropylene can do. UV printing is a more cost-effective method to apply dolls’ faces as spraying seems to be less common in the doll industry these days. It's rare to see eyebrows that actually match an unusual hair color, but not only does Felicia have yellow brows, they're highly-detailed and natural-looking, too. Your criticisms are definitely on point, I also find it frustrating how poorly and cheaply made are some aspects of this doll such as her thin rooting or the simply constructed bag.
The eye and lip shapes for both dolls are similar, but there are subtle differences to differentiate the screenings. I’m so torn on the keep ‘‘em in the box business…on one hand, coming from the school of The Velveteen Rabbit, I believe toys should be played with…and, I wonder about the long-term damage to plastic especially staining, from being boxed for a long time.But the thing is, it was only after getting her out of the box and actually playing with her for a while that I was able to realize the magnitude of her greatness.
