About this deal

Having turned his hand to farming three years ago, marmite figure Clarkson has been praised for showing the realities of farming life – whilst finding humour in the challenges and mishaps he faces day to day. He also describes how a crop lost most of its value after paying for a truck to transport it, then losing money because of excess moisture. If you’ve watched the show, you know how they really get into the nitty-gritty of animal life; this is relatively free of that, because of the newspaper audience is much wider, and consumes this more casually. I enjoyed comparing what I know of Aussie farming with Clarkson’s experience in the UK (I still can’t get over that each field has a name). It’s easy to read, because it is meant for newspaper readers to have something interesting and entertaining to accompany their coffee and bagel (or Sunday Lunch).

But despite the naysayers and (sometimes self-inflicted) setbacks, Jeremy remains irrepressibly optimistic about life at Diddly Squat. Through his witty anecdotes and candid storytelling, Jeremy delves into the heart of what it truly means to be a farmer in the modern era.

Dlatego długość książek o diddly squad jest idealna- jest fajnie, nie zdążymy się zmęczyć satyrą, a bawimy się dobrze. Jeremy's larger-than-life personality shines through as he introduces you to the colourful cast of characters he encounters along the way. Self-proclaimed ‘trainee farmer’ Jeremy Clarkson is back with a new book this month, on his latest trials and tribulations at Diddly Squat Farm.

He hates Brexit, but I feel like even if they’d stayed in the EU, farming would be having a hard time in Britain, just for different reasons. to formation combine harvesting, getting tied-up in knots of red tape to chasing viciously athletic cows, our hero soon learns that enthusiasm alone might not be enough. In the first Diddly Squat book he was critical of local councillors, and here he continues this theme, and he tells how he thinks freemasonry plays a part in many planning decisions. Długo myślałam jaki w zasadzie jest ten brytyjski humor, i mam poczucie, ze właśnie taki jak w książkach Clarksona. In the book, we read that time is moving fast for Clarkson at the age of 61 and how he is thinking of opening a restaurant, and is looking for people who will help him run such an establishment. And now, the laughs, the challenges, and the triumphs of Clarkson's hilarious farming misadventures are captured in all their glory within the pages of Diddly Squat! Til the Cows Come Home will be released on 29 th September 2022, published by Penguin Michael Joseph.

Announcing his new book on Twitter, Clarkson wrote: ‘This has been described, by me mostly, as the best book ever.Pull on your wellies, grab your flat cap and join Jeremy Clarkson in this hilarious and fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the infamous Diddly Squat FarmTHE NO. Step into the world of Jeremy Clarkson's Farm, a mesmerising fusion of agricultural chaos and unfiltered wit that will leave you in stitches. But if the council planning department and the local red trouser brigade seem determined to frustrate his schemes at every turn, at least he's got Lisa, Kaleb, Cheerful Charlie and Gerald, his dry-stone-walling Head of Security to see him through.
