Our basic boiler control allows you to adjust the heating programme by choosing when you would like your system to switch it on or off and how long you would like it to operate for. I would like to understand if I would have much benefits from upgrading to a digital version vs the manual timer. The timeSWITCH 130 works in conjunction with ecoTEC combination models and provides basic 24hr timing for central heating. An additional room thermostat (eg: VRT 50) should be used for temperature control. The 140, being digital, offers the ability to accurately enter on/off times in minutes, whereas the 130 being mechanical is probably only accurate to around 10/15 minutes.
