About this deal

It is highly recommended to apply any preferred non-greasy moisturizer on the skin in the targeted wrinkle zone before pressing the patches into place. This helps prevent it from rubbing off or evaporating to infuse it into the skin to increase its efficacy. Stimulated by the media, a new beauty ideal has emerged over the years, making the use of all sorts of cosmetics (i.e. peels, fillers, injections and laser treatments) normal. Even though immediate results can be seen through treatment procedures like injections, due to the immediate swelling that tightens the skin, there are many common side effects that you risk like inflammation, allergic reactions, headaches and even paralysis or asymmetry of the face. In addition, these treatments are very expensive and because the results are often temporary, you will continue to incur the costs.

With Japanese face tape you can achieve skin improvement in a natural and risk-free way. Firming and smoothing the skin is a slower process but with regular use the results stay visible for much longer. Beauty Tape can also be used after a cosmetic procedure or liposuction treatment assisting with the removal of lymph fluid for a faster recovery time. This great post-treatment using elastic taping techniques will ensure better results. Several areas are affected in the skin: Plus, whatever benefit it offers is temporary and only lasts while the tape is on. I understand it's pretty cheap and easy to use, but I don't think it can be comparable to a surgical face lift result wise. This is made possible by the completely new STRATAGEL® adhesive technology, which dissolves in itself and thus reduces skin irritation to a minimum. The dermatologically compatible Quality of the K-Active Tape Gentle was confirmed in numerous test series. Breathing through the mouth dries saliva before it has a chance to perform its function leading to overgrowth of bacteria which in turn can lead to bad breath, tooth decay and gum inflammation. Becoming aware of the adverse effects of mouth breathing is half the battle in committing to keeping mouth closed while sleeping."More and more people suffer from sensitive skin. But also in certain situations in life, such as after operations, in lymph congestion (for example after cancer) and in chronic Wounds etc., our "protective cover" needs a very gentle touch. After application this elastic tape provides a lifting effect of the skin. The lifting effect has a great effect on blood and lymph flow, ensuring the removal of waste. Using the tape, you can constrict the muscles in your face, similarly to how injections work more invasively. By strategically placing tape in specific areas of the face, face tape temporarily reduces the appearance of wrinkles. By taping the face’s wrinkle-prone regions and limiting motion, wrinkles can be prevented. How to apply face tape Here are three at-home and in-office wrinkle-reducing solutions that will have you saying ‘so long’ to your facial tape: Skincare

But, make no mistake, the practice has been around for years. “Face taping is not a new technique and has been used for years as a potential solution for some people looking to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, specifically to provide an immediate lifting effect,” explains Dendy Engelman, MD, a board certified dermatologist in New York City. “It originally gained popularity in the film industry, when actresses would wear tape under wigs to make their skin appear more firm on camera.” Account icon An icon in the shape of a person's head and shoulders. It often indicates a user profile. Originally designed and developed in Japan by a Japanese make-up artist and skin care specialist Ms. Mimiko with 35 years of professional experience in Tokyo and Hollywood. While facial tape can offer temporary benefits in a pinch, Dr. Engelman doesn’t suggest it as a long-term lifting or wrinkle-smoothing solution. “I would recommend readers try to avoid facial tape, certainly on a regular basis,” she says. Instead, consider the at-home and in-office options that offer lasting benefits. “If they are looking for real, permanent anti-aging solutions, there are many more viable cosmetic and medical treatments that will safely and truly provide greater reductions in wrinkle visibility,” she shares. An added benefit? “You don't want to be tugging so aggressively on the skin on a regular basis,” she adds.

NathanG - Honestly I’ve never heard of that, but in my opinion anything is better than surgery. I do know that you can buy face lift cream which claims to do away with wrinkles, including frown lines. I don’t know how well they work. Personally I believe that no product will work the same for two different people. It all depends on your age and how strongly pronounced your facial lines are. Face taping is the new natural trend in the beauty industry, used to improve the overall appearance of skin in a natural way. This method derived from the beauty industry in Eastern Europe. However, a similar brand of face tape has been around since the 1880’s and is still on sale today. Since it's so affordable, I would still like to try it at least once though. So, has anyone else used instant face lift tape? What do you think about it? Do you have any tips for me to make it work better?I don't wear a face lift tape everyday. I wear it once in a full moon for special occasions. I last wore it for my daughter's wedding and everyone was commenting on how young I look! It does help with sagging, but it helps hide wrinkles too because of the tightness it creates in the skin. And believe me, no one at the wedding had a clue that I had it on!

I considered cosmetic surgery before, but it's just too expensive. The results with that isn't permanent either! It generally last for 5-6 months and you have to pay all that money to get it again. One of the latest old-school beauty trends experiencing a revival on social media—joining the ranks of other classic DIY treatments such as slugging, which has also taken off among millennial and Gen Z skincare-aficionados—is face tape. Yes, face tape. It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like: strategic taping of the face to keep muscles from moving or features in place, and, most of the time, worn through the night for maximum effect.Experience a facial reset every morning. For side sleepers the patches help prevent wrinkles from pillow creases. You can also wear while watching TV, working on your laptop or during commute drive time. An instant face lift on the go. Patches are odorless, nearly invisible, light weight, comfortable, no one will notice you are wearing them. And while using these methods intermittently shouldn’t do too much harm for most people, there are still some risks. Dr. Engelman advises against using tapes for long periods of time because they can actually have the inverse effect. “Extended usage of these adhesive tapes could cause exaggerated stretching to the skin and actually accelerate signs of aging,” she cautions. “There could be increased skin laxity induced from tight taping techniques and/or prolonged wear.” Using Facial Tape for Wrinkles In either case, it’s worth a try. I wouldn’t really go for the face lift tape because I don’t want to wear that stuff on me all the day long, even if I forgot about. Plus if it ever got loose and came off it would be more embarrassing than losing a toupee in my opinion! You must follow the instructions as far as making sure that the area where you place the tape on your skin is very clean and dry and believe me, if you do, there's absolutely no chance of it coming off unexpectedly. It's not something I'd wear every day, but I'll certainly be wearing it on nights out and special occasions. It's well worth a try!
