Please do not use with any other application other than that which is specified in the installation and operating instructions. I would like to replace this out with an thermostat that has the AUTO feature so that it would switch from heat to AC as needed depending on the set temperature. The other set seemed to be folks going with an aftermarket t-stat, and just tucking the blue wire in the wall. I'm not good enough with electronics yet to figure out the DIY hacks for 24v systems, but I am proficient enough to install a 12v thermostat. The yellow wire that originated from the stat was spliced onto a larger stranded white conductor that disappeared into the ducting and there is a black wire of the same gauge where the yellow signal wire shows it should land. The other bundle heads to/from the A/C and will consist of a ground (usually blue), cool (usually yellow but you don't have one), fan low (usually gray, again you don't have) and fan high (usually green). I then connected the blue wire to a 12 VCD(-) connection at my heater, and directly connected that to the control box. In that example, it appears as if the blue wire going to the original t-stat is simply left disconnected. With its easy-to-use app, a camper’s smartphone and other devices can now monitor and change the temperature to match arrival and local weather conditions.

These AAA battery operated thermostats don't care if they are switching -12 vdc, +12 vdc or 24 vac (typical house hvac). International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. The EasyTouch 356 model thermostats were designed to directly replace certain 12-volt Coleman™, Airxcel™, RVComfort™, TrueAir™, and ComfortGuard™ single zone, single/dual-stage compressor, single/dual-stage heater systems.Well won't go into the reasons, but we did not make the get away and the camper is back in the barn. In that case they simply capped off the blue wire and made no connection at the t-stat, but I have no idea if there was any VDC(-) supplied to the A/C elsewhere, or even if it is needed. The thin, stylish appearance is designed to compliment any interior, making it an ideal choice for today contemporary RVer. granted, probably not the same 2 you're asking about, but maybe some of the "wiring" info might be helpful.

These additional features bring your campers climate control closer to what you find in a residential home. Keeping all RVer's in mind, Coleman MACH has made it simple for larger RV's with multiple sources of heating and cooling to control it all by connecting to one single thermostat. Zones can be turned on or off individually to save propane, electricity and money, so if you're spending more time in the front of your RV on a hot summer day, you can maintain a more comfortable temperature there and leave it warmer in unused areas. You would either need to purchase the 8xxx series thermostat or upgrade both your thermostat and control kit to the 9xxx series if able to. The icons and temperature is made visible against the black background, making it easier to see than competing thermostats.Low fan is activated by the brown (or gray) wire connected to -12 vdc through the thermostat switching. I've used the new T-Stat for a week over Thanksgiving and a 4-day trip in January - works great and love that I have a digital temp readout inside the camper. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. in the control board have +12 vdc connected to them and the thermostat closes contacts to -12 vdc to make things work. For the Coleman Mach III I had i had to unhook the existing wires from the coleman thermostat and connect them to the micro air adapter and then just plug that into the micro air.
