About this deal

These filters are commonly used in air purifiers, vacuum cleaners, and various industrial applications to remove dust, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne contaminants. Socket conundrums aside, I was particularly interested to find out if the Henry Allergy would make any difference to my youngest daughter’s Piriton dependency.

Unlike with bagless vacuums, emptying is quick, easy and mess free, with no dust, no mess and no allergens tickling your airways. As with the Henry Eco, my only concern, from an environmental perspective, was having to purchase and dispose of the dust bags, but then maybe this is offset by the fact that you don’t have plumes of dust on emptying. Those of us that suffer from allergic asthma or hay fever are often susceptible to cat and dog allergens that can be trapped in carpet and upholstery vacuums. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. On carpet, which was firmly fitted to the ground, I could just about move the floorhead forwards and backwards, but it felt like a serious workout – good for my biceps but not my energy or sweat levels.

The Henry Allergy Vacuum Cleaner has a massive 6 litre capacity, as well as a long 10 metre cable to help you reach power sockets from anywhere in the house.

For allergy sufferers, one of the biggest pros is that dust disposal is super simple - just self-seal the bag and drop into the refuse bin - no escaping dust clouds!Equipped with an advanced, three-stage HEPA filtration system, Henry Allergy is much more than an ordinary vacuum cleaner. However, the vacuum bag was full of dust and, like other models on the market, easy to empty and self-contained - meaning there was no dust flying around the kitchen the moment I tried to empty it. Even just approaching them with the crevice tool, I could see the dust being pulled towards the tool by high-wattage suction. Adding an additional HEPA filter, the Numatic Henry Allergy HVA160 ensures that dirt is locked away, making it a great choice for homes with allergy sufferers.

At Lockhart Catering Equipment we aim to bring you only the best quality equipment from highly respected names in catering. You ask any cleaner, construction worker or homemaker, and most of them will tell you that you cannot beat the suction of a good Henry. Coupled with this HVA160 has a handy shaped handle that allows you to easily carry the HVA160 with the wand on top of the handle as per the below photo. Tested in an independent laboratory, and approved by the British Allergy Foundation, allergens stand no chance with Henry Allergy on-hand.

Equipped with an advanced, three-stage HEPA filtration system, the Henry Allergy can trap particles up to 800 times smaller in width than a human hair. The high suction levels really come into their own when using the nozzle attachments to get right into corners and crevices.

With spring cleaning on my mind, I relished the thought of cleaning mattresses and materials with this vacuum as well as everyday cleaning jobs in our rather hectic household of two teenagers! Henry Allergy significantly reduces the allergens present in your home (pollens, dust mites, dead skin .Linda is a professionally trained journalist who has specialised in home tech, interior design and fitness for more than two decades. according to my tape measure and including the length of the electric cord plus hose/floorhead at full stretch. The Crevice Tool gets into those nooks and crannies, whilst the Dusting Tool is ideal for shelves, ornaments and picture frames. The products will have batteries which exceed 80% capacity relative to new and will function like new.
