Then, Sovieshu puts up an absolute fit before a crowd of onlookers in front of the Trovi Manor, accusing Heinly - a newly made ruler of an increasingly powerful neighboring country - of seducing Navier, insulting him while telling his own ex-wife, whom he just divorced, things like "I want to be with you", which does not make him look mentally stable, both to said ex-wife and the spectators. Determined, innocent, and delicately beautiful, Rashta shakes the Eastern Empire to its core. While initially a runaway slave, she aspires to rise above her rank and escape her past. And Sovieshu will do anything to help her and keep her at his side. This leaves Navier scrambling to keep her place on the throne, even as her marriage crumbles while lies, deceit, and betrayals threaten to do her in. I had followed the previous empress around, learning things required of the role, such as Imperial Palace etiquette. In chapter 262 ( Go to chapter) the main plot ends, with Navier and Heinley happy. Also in that chapter Heinley confesses to Navier what happened with his brother Walton, that it was his fault that he lost his power, because he tried to help him as he was very weak. After that he decided to stay away and create his bad reputation to leave his brother in a good place. In which chapter does Laura think that Navier has a lover? I didn't expect to love this, but this has probably been one of my favorite reads of the year!The story itself is perfection! Again, I'm not a political reader fan, but I LOVE this! Plus the fantasy aspect is deeply intriguing! (Honestly wish I could say more on it because its my favorite LOL) Everything is so engaging and was SOOOO sad when it ended. I'm already desperate for the next volume even if I caught myself smirking at the turn of events. Despite their efforts, I found it difficult to believe them. If dressing up were all it took to get Sovieshu to fall in love with me, wouldn’t he already be head over heels?
