About Quikpoint TURBO - the significant change when compared to the previous PLUS specification is the new TURBO auger, manufactured in steel and hardened after assembly. It features a reducing diameter spiral which now extends into the delivery nozzle. Field tests have shown improved mortar delivery rate along with the ability to process stiffer and more gritty mixes.
Suitable for extremely fast self compacting aplication, with no delays or waiting (or additional costs!), even in continuously wet weather and at colder temperatures. This is because as the material can be applied in the rain - and in cold (non-freezing) conditions it can still be applied and will continue to cure when temperatures increase above 8-10 degrees C. To maintain the integrity and weatherproofing of a structure, it is important that mortar joints are of sufficient depth, have no hidden voids and are adequately compressed and sealed.
