About this deal

The light can be charged with USB-C, no functionality though. I think that’s find given the smaller battery size here, but feels like the feature should be there. The Wurkkos FC11 is a budget everyday carry and general-purpose flashlight powered by an 18650 battery with USB-C charging, a side e-switch, a magnetic tailcap, and a high-CRI Samsung LH351D LED. My first go with Wurrkos in the FC11 went well — it was a good enough light that I felt I couldn’t just toss it aside in an emergency bag as I had intended to do. Because of this, I’ve been keeping my eye on what Wurkkos is doing: they make budget lights, but they are well made and use nice LEDs in many of them. The TS21 might be the epitome of all of this: it is a fantastic, even before you consider the low price. Charging looks pretty good if a little slow at around 1A. The time required is over 4 hours, and termination voltage is a little low at around 4.15V. Wurkkos DL40 Powerful 5000lm Flashlight, Diving Light with 4*LH351D High 90 CRI 5000K Underwater Torch New 70.3 HI 90CRI】Wurkkos TS22 XHP70.2 Powerful 4500LM 21700 LED Flashlight XHP70.3 with Magnet Tail & Reverse Charging USB C Rechargeable The Wurkkos FC11 is using the Samsung LH351D LED, in 5000k and is also considered high CRI at 90. This is a great LED to use, and one of the light communities favorites right now because of it’s high CRI and neutral tint. It’s also my first time getting a hold of this LED and I am a fan. Mine seems to be pretty neutral with just the slightest tint of green but I have heard of others getting a more green tinted LED. That’s how the bin lottery works unfortunately. The light uses an orange peel reflector behind a non AR glass. The beam profile here is does have a bit of a hot center, but fades nicely into spill. No undesirable rings or artifacts in the beam itself. Good for general use.

Not usure how or how tightly Wurkkos and Sofirn are tied. Best case, the presence of (real?) USB-C charging means Sofirn will adopt it soon. I’ll evaluate the clip from my A6 for use on the FC11 when it arrives, but would like to know of other options.New Release】Wurkkos TD03 Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight, SFT40 USB-C 1800 Lumens Throw 353M Rotary Switch EDC Torch, Waterproof IP68 Size wise there are a lot of similar lights to the FC11. Length and diameter wise the Convoy S2+ is basically identical but my S2+ is the UV model so not a great comparison for beam shots. My Thrunite TC15 is about 7mm longer and about 1.5mm larger in diameter. I consider “very warm” lights to be fantastic for around the house at night lights. Lights that won’t be abrasive, and potentially disturb sleepers with their coolness. The 2700K of this light is perfect in that regard. Also the high CRI (or “higher” CRI at 90) is great for this purpose, too. As can be observed, the current draw of the flashlight's modes are linearly proportionate to the input voltage. In the future, it would be cool to see an updated FC11 model with some kind of regulation present -at the in the lower modes. Measurement disclaimer: Testing flashlights is my hobby. I use hobbyist-level equipment for testing, including some I made myself. Try not to get buried in the details of manufacturer specifications versus measurements recorded here; A certain amount of difference (say, 10 or 15%) is perfectly reasonable. What’s Included

Ok, so the TS12 is a 21700 light, which is generally the type of light that comes out comically large, and almost too big to carry anywhere. However this 21700 isn’t bad at all, if you buy the battery from Wurkkos you should be getting a 5000mAh 21700 battery — tons of runtime in this. The light is an 18650 powered host, and the factory provided (but optional) battery is a button top with 3000mAh. One thing I think is a little shady is that the printed runtimes are tested with a 3500mAh battery, so you won’t get that with this battery. Even still, the LH351D is an efficient LED and will run at about 50 lumens on this battery for a substantial amount of time. And unlike with a 21700 battery, this feels featherweight by comparison. In Use Both head and tail have big beefy springs, and if you notice carefully on the head end, there’s a “+” for cell direction. The thing to note about this LED is it produces a larger beam than most other LEDs in the same reflector. So even though this has an orange peel, TIR, style setup, you do get a nice and wide hot spot. Otherwise it will look like other TIR. It’s good for walking around outside, or moving about where you need a decent amount of balanced light with some flood and some throw to it. This is the “all around” optic. And here’s the light beside my custom engraved TorchLAB BOSS 35, an 18350 light. I reviewed the aluminum version of that light in both 35 and 70 formats. The Wurkkos FC11 has 2 UI options for people to choose, a stepped (Default) or a ramping. To change UI while off, hold the button for 3 seconds and the light will flash twice to let you know it’s switched.

Vapcell U2 2A Smart mini charger USB for Li-ion / Lifepo4 / Ni-MH/Ni-Cd AAA AAAA C D battery charge The firmware of the Wurkkos FC11 supports both stepless dimming and normal stepped modes. Here's all the supported actions. When the light is turned on, the indicating switch will light momentarily to advise of cell voltage, as follows: The body doesn’t have knurling but does have rings for grip. They don’t do a whole lot to aid in holding, though. So now that I have entered the rabbit hole, my question is this - is there a light with similar form-factor (single 18650) that combines the advantages of the two that I listed above? That is: warm pleasant beam (around 4000K or lower), magnet, Andúril, dim but always-on button LED, sub-lumen moonlight (and maybe slower ramping on the low end of the spectrum), at least as much turbo as the Wurkkos...Advertised performance is presumably with the included Wurkkos unprotected 3000 mAh 18650 battery. All testing was performed with an Acebeam protected 3100 mAh 18650 battery, which is believed to use a Sony VTC6 cell. Mode
