The Flex are affordable, but still premium, earbuds from Beats. They have traditional Beats sound with a traditional Beats design, as well as many of the same features of other Beats headphones, but at a very non-Beats price. However, we also commented that the Buds Plus have a crisp sound signature that doesn’t work well for music listening – though it does make phone calls come through clearly – and with no accompanying app there's no way to tweak it. However, there were some criteria that we wanted to see from all of the headphones, including a comfortable and solid design, quality audio and good value for money. Think of the Beats Fit Pro as the Apple AirPods Prowith a few modifications and at a lower price. They have a robust feature set that includes active noise cancellation, spatial audio support and hands-free Siri on iOS, as well as a prominent wing tip, which helps to hold them in your ears when you’re working out.
The Beats Studio Buds Plus earbuds are an upgrade to the Beats Studio Buds. So why aren't they higher in our list? Well, despite the fact the Studio Buds Plus are a better pair of true wireless earbuds, they're more expensive and, therefore, not as good value for most people. footnote2Compatible hardware and software required. That doesn't mean the Beats Studio Buds Plus aren't an accomplished pair of buds, mind you. First up, they're some of the best-looking true wireless earbuds on the market. They don't have the long stems many brands have – we're looking at you, AirPods – but are instead very compact with a transparent design.

These are the Beats headphones for the everyman. A more balanced, well rounded sound will appeal to the masses, while touches of the classic Beats look will appease those who demand their headphones are as much of a fashion accessory as they are audio enablers. On paper, the Beats Flex are a great deal – and worth it if you have a small budget –but, spend some time with them, and you’ll understand why the price is what it is.We had a hard time getting the fit right and the sound might be good, but it doesn't compare to other headphones out right now.
