It is an active unit with a built-in 200w amplifier that drives a large 250mm PP cone long-throw driver delivering frequencies as low as 40hz. The Mission LX6 Mk2 is the flagship of the Mission LX MK2 range and the largest floor-standing speaker. The LX6 is the only speaker in the range that hosts a 3-way configuration offering advanced and extremely precise performance for large spaces. It includes all the added upgrades from the previous models including Comb Tooth Serrations, Mission’s IDG design, self-damping and latest driver technology.

For the MKII version of the LX Series, Mission has updated the crossover to produce a smoother performance from the speakers, with a notable improvement on off-axis balance. To aid timing and rhythm, the LX series speakers use Mission’s inverted driver geometry, placing the midrange driver above the tweeter. The wavelengths from the woofers and tweeters coincide at the listener’s head height. The Mission LX-2 Speakers are versatile in their positioning options, be that in the middle of a bookshelf or placed upon a pair of dedicated stands. The LX-2s will offer the best possible result when placed close to a rear wall (not completely against), providing the rear-firing port with a little space for the best performance result. The LX2-MK II’s most prominent new upgrade is the advanced driver surrounds and crossovertechnology. This technology was used in the QX and high-end ZX ranges and was proven to be very successful.
