About this deal

It’s a nice enough ale, but save for some slight citrus notes I’m not really getting ‘hoppy xmas’ vibes other than from the look of the can itself. We take intellectual property concerns very seriously, but many of these problems can be resolved directly by the parties involved. As an IPA, this beer is designed to showcase the bitterness and flavors of hops, and Hoppy Xmas delivers on that front.

You’ll find bright citrus of lemon and orange, light pine notes, crisp bitterness and rounded finish. The brewdog hoppy Xmas doesn’t do this, making the beer pretty much indistinguishable from what you would get at any other time of year. Tragic (deliberately so) name aside, this is another quality IPA from Brewdog, who rarely seem to put a foot wrong with their product offerings. There's a decent alcohol buzz, and some body (not much for a 6% ale, but par for the course for a 6% lager). Personalised advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information under California and other state privacy laws, and you may have a right to opt out.The cans, following Brewdog's standard practice, are in a strong base colour (plummy red) with the usual simple design and a few nice snowflake details given that it's released as a seasonal offering. A fan of beer since his first can of John Smiths he snook out of his Dad's fridge, Adam is now a craft beer enthusiast. uk accepts no liability for inaccuracies or misstatements about products by manufacturers or other third parties. It is a rather bland and gently fizzy tinned lager and lime, with a little too much weight on the lime aspect of the equation. Upon pouring, the beer has a deep amber color with a thick, foamy head that persists throughout the glass.

Managed to get to my back door but the last few feet are on a slope so I couldn’t get close enough to get in! I’ve enjoyed opening and trying a new beer each day, a few were quite similar but thats to be expected I guess, on the whole we had a good variety of beers, different types and varying strengths – a hugely pleasurable experience all things told. I don’t know why but I was anticipating something winter-spiced and invoking feelings of being sat by the fire in a country pub on a cold winter’s night, but I don’t really get any of that. BrewDog's Hoppy Xmas IPA is a seasonal beer that delivers a strong hoppy flavor and a spicy aroma, making it a perfect addition to any holiday celebration.

Over time an old cooked cabbage flavor appears, like an old stew that has been sitting in the fridge.

The flavour has also notes of citric and spicy hops, hints of tropical fruits, resinous bitter finish. Tangy citrus, papaya and pineapple rest on a solid malty base for a merry and bright IPA that’s going to get you feeling all kinds of festive. Delivering a delicious medley of tropical fruit flavors - mango, guava, lychee and citrus - it's a delightfully refreshing clear golden ale, balanced with subtle herbal notes for a gentle bitterness. There is a bit of mint that also crops up but it feels like grasping at straws for some positivity in this mess of a beer. En boca es ligera, de textura acuosa, notas de fruta tropical, pomelo, ligeramente resinosa, algo dulce con predominio del amargor del lupulo, postgusto amargo y afrutado, con leve toque resinoso. We may require age verification at checkout or may contact you before dispatch if we are unable to verify your ge using our automatic verification system. I feel very fortunate to live in the North East of England surrounded by some great breweries - we have Jarrow, Wylam, Allendale, Durham, Mordue and my newly discovered Tyne Bank Brewery to name but a few.
