About this deal

The HP U28 is the perfect color-accurate monitor for anyone who can benefit from having dedicated picture modes for sRGB (both 6500K and 5000K), DCI-P3 and Rec.709 uses. The Hp U32 is a perfect monitor if you are just entering the content design world. It has a decent calibration out of the box that is enough for most part of users, but if you really need to make it shine, you can give it a calibration.

If the motion blur bothers you, you may switch on the overdrive, but doing so will significantly reduce brightness and even color accuracy, and it can even not be worth it at all. This is one of those displays that you may describe as ideal for workplace environments. It is slim, devoid of flashy colors, and naturally aims to be as small as possible within its size restrictions. Another advantage (depending on some factors) is the monitor’s 1440p resolution. This resolution is right now one of the most coveted for casual gaming, as it holds a solid balance between sharpness and prices. Although 1440p offers a high level of clarity, it requires a lot more power from the graphics card than a 1080p resolution, which is why those who only play competitive games utilize it to gain higher FPS. Are we sure that the display is only 8bit and not 8bit+FRC? Because all panels on this price range are actually 8bit.The DCI-P3 98 percent is a very high ratio in and of itself, but it can cause the colors to become oversaturated when displaying sRGB material. On the other side, if you deal with DCI-P3 content 98% is one of – if not the – highest DCI-P3 gamut you can get in this price range. The Dell UltraSharp U2723QE is our favorite 4K monitor because it’s a quality, color-accurate display that can charge your laptop over USB-C, and it has superior contrast compared with the competition. With all of this in mind, we can only assume that they opted to place a strong emphasis on the gaming features of this screen. Resolution: 3840×2160 | Refresh rate: 60 Hz with FreeSync | Ports: two HDMI, one USB-C | USB-C charging: 65 W | USB hub: two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports MSI G321CU Review | The Best Of The Year Our Conclusion Right now, the MSI G321CU is the cheapest 4K screen with 144hz and other ... Display technology: Your 4K monitor’s display should be IPS, not TN (or VA), because IPS panels provide far better viewing angles and color reproduction. Fortunately, the color fidelity of this screen surprised us in a positive way. It features vibrant colors and bright images, which are the result of an excellent panel and a high brightness ratio.

Creative-level accuracy

Some people may not need so much brightness, but if you work in a bright room, it may be quite helpful since the brighter the screen can be when direct sunlight hits it, the more clearly the images are displayed. The HP boasts of the U28 being factor color-calibrated, allowing for hobbyists to enter pro-level territory when editing things like photos and videos. When measuring the P3 and Standard presets against the P3 triangle and sRGB against sRGB, errors were virtually impossible to see. The P3 mode shows a 3dE color error, and 3dE is the visible threshold. Its color chart shows slight oversaturation of red at the 20-80% saturation steps. Blue also has some oversaturation while just missing the outer blue point by a smidge. But these are very small errors that you’re unlikely to see this with the naked eye. This is pro-level accuracy across two different color spaces, showing stellar performance. The HP U28 is a great professional editing monitor. Its dedicated picture modes for different uses are definitely something we’d like to see in more monitors!
