About this deal
I liked it, it does illuminate, but I don't think I'd describe it as a primer as I didn't feel that it did prime. After using this primer for several weeks, I think I have an understanding of how this product works, and hope that this review is helpful to those of you who are considering purchasing it!
So I decided to post these lip swatches (taken in natural lighting) unedited so you can see how the shades really register on my skin tone. I feel like the Becca primer does have longer lasting power, as my skin looked dewier with the Becca primer after 12 hours of wear. It’s lightweight in texture and while you cannot expect too much of the blurring of ‘imperfections’ (their word, not mine), because that’s a trick of the light that – from something as sheer as this – is only ever going to be nominal. The packaging of the Becca primer feels a lot more expensive, particularly the pump and the cap, because it is a lot more expensive.I haven’t done a dupe post in a very long time, mostly because I don’t really like owning two products that are very similar to one another at the same time.
I discovered this primer after a recommendation from a friend, and it has changed the way my skin looks after applying foundation.Beauty boxes – bundles of products and make-up delivered straight to your door via a subscription – are by far the easiest (and most exciting) way to get your style fix, and they make an excellent gift too. But more than anything, I loved how it also helped keep my face on for hours, despite all that glow. I find it awkward and difficult to use although it’s not impossible and I can overlook it because the formula is that good.
