About this deal

That hell born twin called her a slut and called her baby daddy a lowlife druggie. He was a big menace and how she mended that relationship with him is something i will never know.

For me at least I thought that in their second book that they would spend time apart. Joey would go on his healing recovery. & Aoife would grow as a character, maybe finding a meaning with her baby or school or a career she wanted down the line.. idk something that just wasn’t JOEY OMG I LUV U BABES NEVER FORGET ME

Well, now see, that wasn’t so hard, was it?” she laughed, reaching up to pat my cheek. “And just so you know, Joe?” She leaned in close and pressed a kiss to my cheek. “You’re my favorite friend, with my favorite everything.”

Aoife Molloy is the single best thing that’s ever happened to you, Joey Lynch, and everyone knows it. She loves you, asshole, despite your reputation and all of the horrible things you’ve done in your past, and instead of treating her with the love and respect she deserves, you trample all over her with your bullshit.” She literally said that teddy reminded her of joey. This man for all his life wanted to be anything but his father. And Aoife so easily saying that HURT. Also her saying that teddy reminded her of Joey was a big thing coming from someone who was supposed to be the one she loved. Joey would have KILLED teddy for Aoife. And all of us know that. After having watched Joey in Binding 13 and Keeping 13, I had a fear that he is gonna be a FANTASTIC protective big brother but somewhat bleak boyfriend material. My worse fear came true as it turned out to be. 🌚 The thing is that Joey has so much on his plate since a young age that he physically can't be even half as single-mindedly obsessed with Aoife as he should be to be able to match the levels of Aoife's love, devotion and loyalty for him. His attention span and his time are very limited due to his home situation and at times I felt like Aoife would never make it to the top on his list of priorities meanwhile in case of Aoife he seems to be her ONE and ONLY priority. You can ask us about this by calling 0345 744 5445. It made me wonder whether Joey would still choose to be in Aoife's life if her boyfriend didn't show his toxic asshole tendencies. Would have Joey just gritted his teeth and let Aoife go, wishing her happiness, if her boyfriend was a decent human being? The thought makes me uncomfortable. 🌚 Before you take out your pitchforks, lemme try to explain my impressions in brief: when it came to my knowledge that the next book to come out in the series will be about Joey and Aoife, I didn't have an ounce of ecstasy/optimism about the upcoming release surging through my veins. I was still excited, no questions asked, but not as much I would have been if Chloe had announced GibsieClaire book sjsjsj should have been, considering that Chloe Walsh is of one of my fav authors. Gibsie had my heart in this book. Giving Aoife money with no string attached so she can pay off the dealers debt for Joey was so sweet. He really is the purest character in this series. Falling into a complicated friendship with her father’s apprentice, Aoife works to unravel the secrets around Joey Lynch’s life – while he desperately fights to keep her out.

This book reads like something that only set the stage for greater things—a coming of age story about Joey's struggles and growth, him battling with inner and outer demons—not the 'great, unforgettable love story of Joey and Aoife'. 🕴🏻 Joey’s welcome home was so wholesome and hilarious. Shannon baking him a cake was so sweet. Gibsie holding the sign and trying to get in on the group hug and John babysitting him. Tadgh and Joey's reunions was hilarious, Tadgh is the mini of Joey. And then all of them teasing Johnny. Lmao to me it felt wholesome and perfect (especially because there was no Aoife)When I said in my review that I didn’t like her I personally meant that like she had no personality outside of joey. In the ways she became pregnant. it became increasingly more obvious the Aoife had no interest in taking care of her self or her baby. okay you can get your pitchforks out of my face already... I kinda loved that Aoife has been emotionally cheating on Paul the entire time only to actually cheat on him with Joey later on in the book. 👹👹

the pregnancy trope is rarely entertaining and this was another prime example. chloe should have never forced joey’s character to have to endure a child (a boy to top it off) before he was ready to be a parent. joey only cares about pleasing aoife and it showed when he was asked about the pregnancy.I have no words as to how heartbreakingly beautiful this book is and the talent of Chloe is unmeasured in my eyes ‘ Not to say Saving 6 didn’t have also good support characters like Aoife’s parents and her best friend, but after meeting the Kavanagh family, Aoife’s dysfunctional family just didn’t hit the same. I really loved Joey and Tony’s (Aoife’s dad) bromance tho that was cute. How can I not like the man, one of the few, who took a chance on Joey and gave him a job. note: we’re all entitled to our own opinions, so don’t even think about being a bitch about mine 🫶🏻 Joey you were supposed to here. It's wasn't supposed to be him you were meant to be here. I thought it was you."
