Now lets transfer this to an IRL meeting where a lot of Fragrantican members congregate. We talk about fragrances and I present the same opinion as above. Some people will agree and others will disagree....and if the latter are in majority I am asked to leave the meeting and/or just shut up. The middle is a composition of Bitter Almond, Leather, and Orris. Orris Root enhances the powdery texture on the skin and keeps the floral accord alive. There is some woody nuance because of Orris and some nuttiness from Almond.

This perfume goes on to have the same notes as Fabulous to recreate the unique scent. The opening notes are Lavender and Sage, giving off the fine fragrance of the delicate, calming flower. Tom Ford Fabulous introduces itself with a whiff of sweet and aromatic Lavender, so it is as close to the original as possible. What I like, which is also the parallel to Boy, he gets a masculine edge over time, before he runs the risk of becoming a little too monotonous. The edge is slightly herbaceous-spicy, could be Mysore sandalwood dipped in sage, which for me is always very aromatic-spicy, but also has such a creamy melt. With FF, Tom Ford has created a fragrance that makes the bombastic orientalism a little easier for me. FF can't really be described, I smell liquorice, some hashish, leather, spices and wood. Nothing that I like particularly, but captured in this bottle, it gives a very special and, in my opinion, easily wearable fragrance for many occasions. I don't know anything that bears any resemblance to FF. But watch out! If you pull the trigger more than twice, you need a gun ownership card in the EU, because it really hits you and even gives me a headache. The shelf life is comparable to the half-life of plutonium. Really out of this world.

In the very late base, the sweetness of the fragrance decreases, so that the woods can be perceived a little better. Everything else remains as before, but I have the feeling that I can still perceive a slightly acidic oud note in the very late base. Yes yes, terms and meanings are strange things, aren't they?
