Great outdoor space, fabulous views, peaceful and quiet. Great communication from the owner, would definitely recommend Values in The Secret Kingdom that you could reinforce with your children include loyalty, courage, persistence, ingenuity and love. We felt, as soon as we entered, that Secret Kingdom was going to be a great place to spend our two week holiday. Even more so when we noticed a bottle of Asti Spumante, flowers and chocolates on the table that were for our pleasure and consumption. We continued to feel this way throughout our stay. We couldn't fault the cottage. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable and was extremely well equipped. Everything in the cottage was of a very high standard. Very comfortable and cosy! All you need and more.

There are some insults in this movie, including ‘oaf’ and ‘coward’. Ideas to discuss with your children Where did you film this? I'm assuming most of it was a green screen, but did you have to go on location at any point? Or was this all filmed in a studio? The Secret Kingdom Cottage has award winning sister property Manor House 981761, together they sleep fourteen. I couldn't help but notice that a lot of your previous work involves dinosaurs! This was a dragon, but as someone who is fond of these giant creatures, I'd love to know what draws you to the genre. The location was perfect for both the countryside, the beaches and some fantastic local pubs and restaurants. Our holiday at Warkworth was relaxing, happy and memorable. Secret Kingdom Cottage is spotless and very comfortable. We hope to visit again in the future.

Once upon a time, a wonderful king ruled the lands. After a terrible accident, his overwhelming grief split the world in two. The world above went on as usual, but in the world below time stood still and darkness spread. In this darkness a creature called the Shroud (Gabrielle Chan) gained power, striking fear into hearts and turning creatures to stone. This cottage has been designed with guests in mind, features include single level accommodation and underfloor heating and soft warm shades of stone flooring throughout, providing a radiant ambient heat underfoot, the cottage sleeps four, and is perfect for two couples to come together to explore this ancient kingdom. Verity was my favorite character. She's the younger sibling, but she really takes charge with Peter. How did you want that relationship to come across on screen when you were writing it? Angie the owner could not of been more helpful, a lovely lady who met us on arrival and showed us around and explained how to use the cooker, coffee machine( very important)etc! Oh and the underfloor hearing! Bliss. Matt Drummond: Funny enough, I think all kids have a dinosaur gene. They're born with it, and they just love them anyway. I was fortunate enough that I fell into a career that allowed me not to grow out of that. I was doing dinosaur documentaries for National Geographic and The Discovery Channel, and I became known as the dino guy for some time in that space, and I just kept doing more and more and more of them. So when I did my first feature film, I had the opportunity to do that. It was an obvious choice to use that as a subject matter and as a strength that I could lean upon to bring some wow factors to the screen. There was conflicting information from yourselves and the owner regarding removing the bedding and what happens with the keys on leaving." The owner, Angie and Frank, where extremely helpful and responsive to messages and left lovely little touches in the cottage on our arrival.The cottage is immaculate and wonderfully comfortable . It is a great base to explore all the local area from . Angie and Frank where so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Great walking area with lovely beaches , villages, coffee shops and restaurants. Secret Kingdom is a superb holiday cottage and it is ideally located from which to explore beautiful Northumberland. There is so much to see and do, for all ages. Angie & Frank made us feel very welcome and we hope to return again very soon. This entire film is just a visual effects masterpiece. From the animals to the scenery, I was blown away. What was the most difficult aspect to create? Starring Sam Everingham, Alyla Browne, Alice Parkinson, Chris Gabardi, Darius Williams, and Beth Champion, The Secret Kingdom, which reminds me a lot of the fun found in Labyrinth, finds these two kids up against an ancient evil known as The Shroud, an evil which is born from the disunity of the worlds in the secret universe below their bedroom floor. It is their job to bring together the five mystical treasures in an effort to save this kingdom.
