About this deal

Day 5 - Macca dies, drive into Slough and meet Arbour Vale kids, night of blood moon, Sophie rescues and brings to Ascot. It felt quite similar to Michael Grant's Gone series a lot of the time - a world where anyone older than 15 is gone and where kids are fighting for survival and to find food and water and a sense of stability - but with a better sense of organisation. The older kids look out for the younger ones and try to keep them safe as much as possible. Despite knowing that there's no one to stop them from smoking or drinking, no one seems to be doing so, perhaps because it would lead to increased vulnerability from the grown ups.

Trigger warnings: gore, death, violence, death of a child, cannibalism, zombies, seriously y'all there is LOTS of death and violence and gore, death of a parent (in the past), animal death, blood, gun violence, stabbing, mentions of depression and mental health.

Days 6-15 - Many days of Ella screaming, one day Ella recovers and follows Malik around farm, goes hunting in Legoland, weather is raining and misty and grey in morning. Ella sees other kids with Malik another day. Small Sam – A surprisingly brave nine-year-old boy in the Waitrose group, Ella's brother, and a main character in the novel. Early on, he becomes separated from the group after being kidnapped by adults. He escapes and discovers adults who do not seem too affected by the disease, but still eat children. Again, he escapes and meets a new group of children at the Tower of London. He is most likely the main character of the series. Ed and Jordan make it to the Tower of London, where Jordan dethrones Tower leader Tomoki Ford. He does not throw Tomoki's crew out, but rather lets them stay as their own group.

The Holloway crew leaders argue over whether they should or shouldn't agree to fighting the Squatters. In the end, Blue decides they should go over and see what The Squatters have got to say for themselves, and if they don't like it than they shall go.Tom - A boy from the Palace, he is around fourteen or fifteen and goes with Jester on an exploration mission. He wields a sword and is constantly complaining. I usually read books that are more romance-heavy, and reading this has really proven to me that I needed a break. This book was SO GOOD, you guys. The church where the expedition crew is hiding burns down. Ollie rescues Lettis Slingsbury, and the crew and the Twisted Kids return from the expedition. Tommy - A boy who was thought to be being healed by Dr. Catell. It is later discovered that he was being eaten alive while being preserved by medicine.
