Ok dont no much about how you wire over there but it’s all the same really. Rereading your original post. It sounds like you have replaced 1 switch with a retractive switch (spring switch) there are 2 types 1way and 2way. In case device name and channel names are not set, the entity name will be generated by the Device Type, Device ID and Channel Number. outdoor lights controlled from two locations (i was hoping to have simple on/off 2 way retractive switches) do I need anything special from the switches in terms of set up? All electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician under the electrical safety act and AS/NZS300. Doing your own electrical can be dangerous.
