One needs to use a mic that does not require phantom power to connect it directly to the speaker. The sound then produced is also clearly projected towards the audience. The speakers are unique in handling acoustic guitar and other keyboard sounds. Built out of a lightweight yet extremely durable material that completely houses the speaker you don't have to worry about movingthese speakers around, they will stand up to a lot of punishment and still sound as crisp and clear as the day they came out of the box. The DBR 10 contains a 10" woofer and 1" compression driver running off of a 700w class D power supply. This active speaker works just as well as a main front of house speaker as it does in rigging or as a stage monitor. One incredible speaker that can be used for nearly any scenario and the 2 channel inbuilt mixer gives you an incredible range of control over your speakers and makes them only more versatile.

However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail. The cone is placed beneath a horn-loaded compression driver about 1 inch in size. A perforated steel grille has been used to protect the tweeter and the woofer. A DSP is utilized to deal with the crossover and speaker capacities. The cross-over (an FIR filter) is of 2.1kHz. Smart Enclosure Design for Floor Monitoring - DBR Series speakers feature an optimized 50°wedge angle for floor monitoring. In addition the DBR12 and DBR15's symmetrical shape allows for effortless configuration of a mirror-mode floor monitoring system in either symmetrical or stereo sound field setups. I bought the DBR15. It's a very powerful and surprisingly light unit considering. I am comparing this to lugging around a JBL EON15 G2, which has fewer handles and weighs more. With this one, I grab both handles, hug it to my chest and walk as normal. Thank you!

Yamaha DBR10 10'' Active PA Speaker Pair with Speaker Stands Overview

It is because Yamaha is expensive in general. However, using a reliable brand such as Yamaha when purchasing a speaker is better . The company has also managed to keep most of the features in this low-price series. A Rugged, Highly Portable Cabinet I/O connectors - INPUT1: Combo x1, INPUT2: Combo x 1 RCA pin x 2 (Unbalanced), OUTPUT: XLR3-32 x 1 (CH1 Parallel Through or CH1 CH2 Mix) You might get many options when purchasing a speaker at the same price as a DBR10. I"d been playing acoustic guitar through a small acoustic combo amp, mostly doing solo "special music gigs." I"m generally not playing longer gigs, just a few songs for special events. I"d been happy for the most part with my small amp. Considering everything, it"s quite capable, especially when playing solo to a captive audience. I"ve had more than one occasion however when I turned down requests to play in a larger church or with a small ensemble. In those situations, the amp is less than adequate. I could be heard throughout the church when playing for a quiet crowd, but it just wouldn"t fill the room sufficiently. I should also make clear that I am not a fan of "DI-ing out." I"ve played in churches in particular for years. I"ve been burned on too many occasions to be comfortable with that.

What Makes Our Sales Engineers Great?

As mains, the church I was using them at had only one complaint—they looked too small. I had to grill them to get them to admit they sounded full and big and they finally admitted it. This was in a 200 seat ballroom and they had plenty of headroom for the typical guitar/keyboard duo. Keys sounded huge through them too. I was running four—two on the floor in stereo and two as mains with an Allen & Heath QU-SB digital board and an iPad. Sound quality is excellent. The feature of having a 3 position sound contour setting allows alternatives for boosting the highs and lows to fit the application somewhat, but it is not as flexible as having knobs for highs and lows that can each be adjusted anywhere in a range. I use the contour in the Off position - i.e. flat with no boosting on the speaker - and do my sound shaping on the input signal from a mixer. Sounds great, and I get exactly what I want. The horn coverage angle is specified as 90 degrees horizontal by 60 degrees vertical. The main body of the cabinet is moulded and includes a sensibly placed top handle, as well as the expected 35mm pole mount in the base. Yamaha tell us that the DBR series of speakers, of which the DBR10 is the smallest, benefits from the transducer, amplifier and DSP technologies developed for Yamaha’s more upmarket DSR and DXR ranges. If you need something larger than this one, then there are 12–inch and 15–inch models in the range. The DBR10 has a frequency response of 55Hz to 20kHz.
