I always have a plethora of tubes as it seems every time I manage to pinch one or two and it usually ends with lots of cussing and throwing stuff. Soooo, I went to a local motorcycle/Razor/side x side repair and parts facility here in Lake Havasu and they didn't have any but, can get one to me by tomorrow by about 10:00 in the morning. True, but the old tyre is a lot easier to get off than a new tyre is to get on, new sidewalls are stiffer than old ones that have been squashed flat a few million times. I don't how hard it was for any of the youtubers that did this conversion to get any appropriate valve stems but, here, in my part of the world, those 8mm all steel valve stems are just not all that easy to get. The Baja No Pinch Tire Tool was made as a way to help eliminate pinching a tube during mounting, while trying to make it easier as well.

But since both hands are used when handling the Baja No Pinch, you need a bead buddy to hold down the bead on the opposite side of the tire that you are working on.

This Original Baja Tire Changing Kit is compatible with 16 to 21-inch tires featuring a 20mm sized axle. If this sounds obvious then I apologise but all to often the videos on u-tube make it look too easy and you jump in expecting the same, get stuck, then frustrated and it all becomes a mess and very stressful. The tube that goes in the axle hole is a good bit longer than needed for my tires, and it has to hang down below the wheel to sit the leverage point in the right spot. Another part of the adjustability is the push rod that is used to install the tire, which can be set up to use on a 16-21 inch rim.

I think we can all agree that showing up to the track with a pinched tube after you changed the tire is very frustrating. If you are doing the tyre change for the first time then give yourself a day or two and try this before mounting the new tyre. Michael Lindsay - is a born-and-raised moto freak and gearhead from the heart of motocross in Southern California. One, if you look UNDER that tire and wheel he's working on, you'll see some sort of STAND that the wheel may, or may not be securely fastened to or at least has some sort of ability to hold the wheel steady while you're torquing on it, trying to mount a tire.QUICK AND EASY - Designed to simplify the tire installation process, the Baja No Pinch tire tool ensures quick and easy tire changes for all riders. One christmas my wife surprised me with a tire changing stand and the Baja no pinch tool and that thing removes the effort and pinches. You still have to remove the tire with spoons, but getting the new tire on with a tube inside is a low stress situation with this tool. Usually when I mount a tire with tire irons, I can hold one iron on the opposite side of the tire that I'm mounting. There are a bunch of expensive trail oriented pumps that look like modded versions of this cheap import.
