Aucoin's gift was seeing the beauty in everyone and in bringing it out by being present and highlighting what's already there, and that is something which is simply not bound by time; it's just pure artistry. the photos and actual makeup looks in this book are stunning, and as i said i really enjoyed hearing kevyns thoughts, which are mostly the books saving graces for me and keep its rating two stars, but with all its deficits in mind, i wouldnt recommend this book to as many people as i thought i might.
