It has a tough outer layer with COTTON LINING in the inside for MAXIMUM PROTECTION, unlike your average car covers it will not scratch your car. The rain is unable to penetrate as the material fibers criss-cross over the perforations allowing the car to breathe without allowing the surface tension of the water to be broken to get through the cover. We have just made one of the center layers more dense which improves the rain protection, makes the cover more protective against knocks and bangs whilst still being breathable to avoid condensation.
