It’s another dryer with an incredibly lightweight aluminium design – we were able to move it using just one hand – and it’s carpet-friendly too, with beam supports instead of separate, carpet-branding feet. They come in all shapes and sizes, and once plugged in, their electric rails heat your washing, meaning your towels, sheets and clothes will be ready to be put away in no time.

Although the triangular shape means there's a little less space on the top drying rack, it still holds 15kg of wet washing overall, and the tiered design makes it easy to hang washing flat across each level. However, the bonus of a tiered airer over a drying pod is that the lack of fan means it's silent, a tiered airer can hold more washing, and will generally uses less energy. However, we really liked the fact that once extended the DriBUDDi's poles have grooves to locate each hanger in, something the Dry:Soon Drying Pod lacks. In fact, the platforms can be folded down on either side so that it takes up even less space if you only need to dry half a load.
