The face of the campaign is model Francisco Lachowski, along with his wife Jessieann Gravel Lachowski. I’m not used to this from the house of Joop, their scents are usually such powerhouses, and if this were a better performer I’d absolutely love it.

It’s a cold weather fragrance and I’d say more for daytime wear as there’s certainly other fragrances I’d rather save for the evenings and special occasions. I can’t say I liked it really and the drydown got a little worse but in creativity terms so much more imaginative than the current glut of similar smush.Homme Absolute is a rich, spicy, peppery frag with a single very detectable high note of perhaps an exotic tropical flower. It represents the seductive and confident male that believe in himself and pursues his passion and is a born seducer.
