I see many have noted a similarity to Gucci Bloom, which I love, but this just smells harsh and almost acrid to me. the sweetness would probably draw in a more youthful crowd but they cleverly added floral to pull in other age groups.

There is also some kind of saltiness which is kind of like a good sweat smell and a bit powdery/lipstickey. Overall this is much, much sweeter than I expected, because as it dries down I am basking in velvety cashmeran. Longevity is excellent, though it has low projection – I caught whiffs while working out 12 hours after application. The lipstick scent is definitely discernable to me but there's also this smell that reminds me of something that I can best describe as "rocks.If I had to guess the notes, I would say iris, orange blossom, neroli, and either vanilla or a sweet fantasy note like praline or something like that. In spite of all this, there is something elegant and expensive smelling about it and I like the fact its subtle and not in your face. I don't get much noticeable florals, I can sense the rose but it's quite subtle, even more subtle than Lancomes Tresor Nude, which is a fragrance I'd put in the same family as this, though Tresor Nude is a sexy drunk vanilla coconut rose and Arizona is a softer fruity daytime "safer" version. Reading through these positive reviews now, I'm scratching my head, wondering how my experience could have been so different than others.

I tried it in winter and didn't really think much of it but I tried it in 34°c heat and it's a totally different scent. All the notes are blended together so perfectly that you can't really pick out individual notes, although I think the cactus flower and orris accords might be what I smell most.It is like a fairy tale, just powdery enough, flowery enough, fresh just right, and sweet to the perfection. It seems that nobody's wearing it here in my country, maybe it's nearly unknown or no one likes it, who knows? Then comes the heart of the fragrance and somehow I lost that unique fun opening and it became Lancome Idole x Black Opium -- which is just too cloying for me. If you like this but want something a little lighter, fruitier, and more balanced try Faan Thanaghum!
