About this deal

The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is energetic and hot; the characters are numerous, colorful and energetic.

Instead, we get some danger by way of a mystery character, one who may or may not be from Gabriel or Julia's past. Of course, there are hurdles to cross, and once again the past threatens to spoil their present – but they have a number of faithful friends, though none more so than Katherine Picton. A wonderful story from beginning to end and I look forward to more stories of this couple and family. The biggest change since we last heard from the couple is the birth of their daughter, Clare Grace Hope Emerson. That’s what I keep asking me, I love this trilogy and even when I would love to know what happened to Gabriel and Julia after married and have a child, I just don’t understand this book.In addition, he's love for his wife, who made the nearly impossible dream, a reality, has brought them even closer together. He takes care of the simplest details in each of his books, like setting the dates for each of his stories and choosing and developing the themes of lectures. I loved their story from the first word of Gabriel's Inferno until the last word of Gabriel's Redemption. Julia has a few concerns of her own after having the baby and she hopes they disappear before she has to tell Gabriel. I am totally smitten and can’t wait for Part 3, along with Rapture and Redemption once they have been filmed.

I always open the pages to a Sylvain Reynard’s novel with such excitement, what makes Gabriel’s Promise even more delightful is knowing you are re-entering the world of much-loved characters to the Gabriel Series in this, the fourth novel. It really had great potential, but it ended up being a little like a secondary storyline just to have the mystery included, and it starts to fizzle after that above mentioned big event. Like each of the novels from the Gabriel Series, the author pays tribute to the Renaissance poet, Dante Alighieri with reference to both The Divine Comedy and La Vita Nuova. His readers deserved to have their hearts stolen once more by seeing Gabriel in his new role as a father and as a husband.

This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. Gabriel’s Promise” is the book we all have been waiting for, a full length „epilogue” (from my POV) that will bring us Gabriel and Julia back to see how exactly how do they cope with parenting and new responsibilities. We meet old characters such as Katherine, Paul, Richard, Rebecca and Rachel and we move on viewing their lives through the power of words and descriptive narratives. Moreover, all that unnecessary drama that was brought on just for the sake of the drama made this novel look cheap in comparison with the perfection that were first three books. I have read and loved the rest of the series so I decided to go ahead and pick up my own copy since it's already out. The story is a bit of a suspense, I felt like there was always something happening that I could not guess.
