About this deal

The story follows the main character James on his journey to overcoming multiple challenges that include homophobic school bullies, falling out with friends, coping with grief, and dealing with the separation of his parents. This is a space-borne version of the original G-10 nearly identical except for modifications to allow it to operate in Zero Gravity. Despite his struggles, James shows the readers that if you ignore bullying, it doesn't necessarily go away, and you need to open up to others for help.

But he's being bullied by a boy at school, and as the secrets build up, James begins to lose his spark. It shows from the offset how someone outgoing and bubbly can be dragged down by bullying, causing low self-esteem, to make someone feel they have no support, therefore pushing those they love away too. James can find relief with his beloved Nan, she's been having worrying falls , and James can't tell anyone, or she might be sent to a faraway care home. The topics that should be spoken about out loud, understanding how the child’s mind works while all the stuff is happening around him.How someone can bottle up their feelings and seem okay on the outside when on the inside they’re hurting.

It uses somewhat conventional 75mm ammunition which it accelerates to ludicrous speed by both narrowing the barrel diameter and applying electromagnetic force to the ammunition once in the barrel. And, in case you're wondering, no, Quil Lemons isn't one of them — the young photographer was born with that name 20 years ago in South Philadelphia. What I love about this, is that it highlights how someone so bright and bubbly can be dragged down due to such an internal struggle when they feel like they have no support. His teacher, Mr Hamilton, is getting married to his boyfriend, and it looks like James will be part of a surprise choir performance at the wedding. Titles like Glitter Boy are so important for raising awareness and allowing all readers to feel seen and represented in the books they read.I can’t stress the importance of books like this finding their way into the hands of teachers and children. If it's one person with a single weapon, your best bet is to aim all of your shots at either the head or boom gun. Your previous titles include some wonderful, inclusive picture books but Glitter Boy is your first (and hopefully not last) middle grade book.
