About this deal

Eight stories involving the love lives of more than a dozen characters are brought together over one Christmas and climax on Christmas Eve, including recent widower Daniel (Liam Neeson), husband and wife Karen (Emma Thompson) and Harry (Alan Rickman), ageing rocker Billy Mack (Bill Nighy) and David (Hugh Grant), the Prime Minister, who falls for Natalie (Martine McCutcheon), a member of Number 10's staff. A few ended too abruptly or with little fan fare, but the bulk of the plots are wrapped up in such a way that it's impossible not to smile. Personally I prefer practical presents, so the whimsical, thoughtful presents are outside of my understanding.

Additionally, a pair of porn film stand-ins bond on the set, an artist fantasises about his friend's wife; and perhaps funniest of all, an ageing rock star ( Bill Nighy) tries to make his comeback with a Christmas novelty song. The commentary features director Richard Curtis and actors Hugh Grant, Bill Nighy, and Thomas Sangster. The hilarious Love Actually explores the ups and downs of relationships in the weeks building up to Christmas. As the years have gone by some of the scenes in the film have stayed with me and have become more and more powerful. The man in love with his best friend's wife, the school boy tortured by his love for a girl out of his legal. Written and directed by Richard Curtis and produced by Duncan Kenworthy (the team behind Notting Hill and Four Weddings And A Funeral) this zingy Brit-com weaves a vivid crazy quilt of interlocking or unrelated vignettes all dealing with the subject of love over the Christmas holidays in London.

If you haven't already seen it you're missing out big-time and I expect it will become a tradition for me to watch this every Christmas and who knows. Nearly all romantic comedies end in similar manners, so you know, in essence, how the film is going to end before you even pop it into your DVD player. Ten years after its release, the smash hit movie from the makers of ‘Notting Hill' and ‘Four Weddings and A Funeral' continues to spread joy all around, warming people's hearts, getting better, richer and funnier every time you see it.Consumer Products by Snow Commerce, which is soley responsible for the site's content and all aspects of your purchase. The film is also presented in Dolby Surround Spanish and French with subtitles in Spanish and French as well. I think it's sad that people who loved the Phantom were unwilling to accept the sequel - they missed a good show. I was already a big fan of 'The Walking Dead' before I first saw Love Actually so it was really weird seeing Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) doing a British accent in a romcom (I'm aware he's British-just use to the American accent in TWD! My wife loves this film and raves about it, so I got the dvd for her as one of her Christmas presents .

If you can't find a moment in the film where your heart strings are well and truly plucked, then you're probably dead! All that really needs to come through clearly are the voices and the music, both of which fit the bill perfectly. The cast is exceptional and is chock-a-block with stars such as Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Keira Knightley and Rowan Atkinson. From the new bachelor Prime Minister (Hugh Grant) instantly falling in love with a refreshingly real member of the staff (Martine McCutcheon) moments after entering 10 Downing Street.
