While Ricca attempts to save Olivia, Georgia starts firing wildly and shoots Ricca in the side of her stomach. But I’m also not one for feeling like a character needs to always stay the same or that any canon is too sacrosanct to play with (if the next Star Wars show randomly decides, say, Mon Mothma becomes Charal the Witch of Endor, I’d be like whatever, cool, bring it on) but I can see how that would be distressing to fans who are attached to such things, so I suppose enter at your own risk. Georgia says she had to kill Amos because he was going to take Olivia away from her and Tim told her not to let her go. The next morning, the group trudge through the wood, when they hear more of the guys from the previous night. Olivia reveals to Clementine that her first memory in life is crying with her and her sister rolling on the floor screaming.

The Talented Clementine (2007): Clementine fears for the upcoming talent competition taking place at her school, as she is unsure of what skill to demonstrate. She’s sad because she doesn’t have an adult figure in her life anymore, but then she bails on AJ and leaves him without the adult figure that he personally saved. Clementine tells the group about the plan and the next morning, her, Ricca, and Olivia head to the boat, but not before Clementine has them take a detour to get their picture taken. There is some teenage drama in the book but I feel it’s presented in a realistic manner that doesn’t go too over the top. Later, Olivia speaks to Clementine and tells her that she's leaving with Amos and go back to his town.

But when she comes across an Amish teenager named Amos with his head in the clouds, the unlikely pair journeys North to an abandoned ski resort in Vermont, where they meet up with a small group of teenagers attempting to build a new, walker-free settlement.

Tim leads Clementine to his camp where he reveals the twins and their mother used to work for him, but after a bad winter, the twins left. After, Clementine explains the situation, they take notice of her prosthetic and invite her to their town. So not knowing the video game I neither am familiar with the world enough to like the character nor resent her treatment here, a wash. I was wondering if I'd be able to follow the story, but the world building is pretty much just "apocalyptic world with zombies", which isn't too hard to grasp.

Later, Olivia comes back to the group and says Clementine had something to do and they shouldn't wait up on her. Then, it becomes clear that this zombie world makes sense for Walden: Teens on a road to recovery (from trauma) and self-discovery.

After some time, Clementine and Ricca make their way back to the camp while waiting for the snow to pick up, so they can use it as cover.
