Although the decision has been made to make a board based on the Cotswolds, and some landmarks have been deemed as 'likely' to feature, the public are able to have a say on which landmarks they think should be on the game. The more people we have signed up means we can keep residents informed about important service information such as bin collections as well as updates on projects across the Cotswolds.

A current hot property region in the UK, the Cotswolds is a tourist magnet and home to A-Listers, and is about to become even more popular with board game enthusiasts.
Winning Moves UK, who produced the game under license from Hasbro, say the Cotswold edition is going to be popular. At the time of the announcement the public was invited to send in general nominations and suggestions for tokens, landmarks and organisations to feature in the game. Our very own Emma was invited to the exclusive launch where the much anticipated big reveal unveiled the brand new version of the game, which we just know you are going to love! The factors that were taken into consideration were: regional pride; Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with eye-catching landmarks; a sense of family and community. Elsewhere a tractor is being used as a playing piece instead of the racing car from the classic edition following a public vote amongst good humoured Cotswoldians as part of the big reveal. The Cotswold Journal is one of over 30 local organisations, landmarks and tokens to feature in the new edition, produced by Winning Moves UK.
