About this deal

Heard the same as what you described, from a brand new DacMagic 100 which I only started to use since 2 days ago, and liking it so far. With its neutral design and performance-focused features, it caters to a range of audio setups and preferences. I opted for the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 100, because my intuition and experience told me, that this DAC has the potential, and with the right modifications can perform really well. A pair of gold-plated RCA outputs lets you connect the DacMagic 100 to your home audio system's receiver or integrated amp. two coaxial digital inputs: ideal for connecting a CD or DVD player, Logitech Squeezebox™ Touch, Sonos® Connect, or any other digital audio component with coax out, and taking advantage of the DacMagic 100's high-performance processor for better sound.

In principle, from a technical point of view, it was obvious from the beginning, but as we know, what “on paper” does not always reflect what we are actually able to hear. Personally, I’d rather stay at factory Fujicones, than exchange them for capacitors with a specific polarization, no matter how high quality they would be. I can hear the increase in control and discipline, the recording must be really bad, to get something breaks out ahead of the row or unpleasantly irritated the ears.Compared to the Marantz it was slightly, very slightly, cooler in tone and maybe a little more open, allowing fractionally more air around the performers but at the expense of being more recessed. I must admit, that the sockets used in the DacMagic 100 are of decent quality and this type of sockets also occurs in much more expensive constructions. Treated myself to a Cambridge Audio DacMagic 100 and wanted to see what other users have experienced.

Like the rest of the products Cambridge Audio, the DacMagic 100 was custom developed from scratch by the design team at the central London premises. The Cambridge Audio products are characterized by high user-friendliness, superb technical performance and a stylish, modern design that fits perfectly into Scandinavian homes. El Cambridge Audio DacMagic 100 is a digital to analog converter (DAC) that, thanks to its 24-bit Wolfson chip, a USB Audio 1. Bought one of these units on sale few years ago to accompany a Paradigm PW Amp for TV duties, but actually never connected it to my TV.I simply want to get the most out of my Kanto TUK powered speakers, which seem to be very happy using their RCA inputs via the DM100.
