About this deal
I still enjoy the scent, and better appreciate it -- even it no longer sporting shoulder-pads and big hair. Unless you want to smell like you’re a time traveler from beyond the Iron Curtain, I’d advise to stay clear. I have a 1/2oz of the parfum in this weird bottle that's shaped like a small round dagger which I have to keep in a drawer to stop it from rolling around. Non è elencata da nessuna parte ma ci sento una forte ed intensa fioritura di Pittosphorum, proprio come quello che si sente nelle strade a maggio giugno vicino al mare.
In my case, however, I don’t think there is a quantity of this fragrance small enough that I might properly enjoy it. Ho descritto una edizione recente, ora ne ho avuta una vintage del 91 e infatti si sente una notevole differenza. Looking here at the notes there's a lot of them, especially the white florals such as tuberose and jasmine.Launched by Givenchy in 1991, Amarige is feminine scent that possesses a blend of violet, mimosa, soft sweet spices, and orange flowers accompanied by fruity notes of fresh citrus, melons, peaches, and plums.
To me she’s a classic, beautiful, classy, romantic white floral that has captured my heart since it’s release in 1991 when I was 21 years old. Very strong the first 15 min then it settles into a smooth, creamy jasmine and gardenia scent that lasts forever. In the realm of Poison and cohorts, the addition of spice above fruit and wood gives off a magical feel, quite dreamy.Top notes are Orange Blossom, Peach, Plum, Neroli, Brazilian Rosewood, Mandarin Orange and Violet; middle notes are Tuberose, Mimosa, Gardenia, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Black locust, Carnation, Red Berries, Black Currant, Cassia, Rose and Orchid; base notes are Sandalwood, Woody Notes, Amber, Vanilla, Musk, Tonka Bean and Cedar. Givenchy Amarige Eau de Toilette spray is a fragrance crafted for the sophisticated woman, exuding confidence. I wore it loads throughout my A-levels, going out to pubs and nightclubs and parties, falling in love and generally having a fabulous time. But given that five stars were given to the most definitely (IMO) obnoxious though innovative Angel, I just can't understand the rude dismissal of one of the most gorgeous florals of all time (again, IMO), composed by the King of Florals, Dominique Ropion.
