Made from a harvest of long grain indica rice which is inoculated with black kōji, fermented and then distilled into the Awamori spirit. Each botanical has been harvested at the peak of its season to extract the best flavour, and distilled to fully embody the blessings of nature. Milled and polished to perfection, white rice is revered for its mild and subtly sweet flavor – it’s the ultimate symbol of Japan. It’s then distilled a second time through two different processes to create both flavor and volume, before being blended and filtrated in the Suntory Liqueur Atelier at Osaka Plant.

It's smooth enough to serve neat or on the rocks, but also works well mixed with vermouth for the perfect vodka martini. To convey it as a Japanese Craft Vodka, we use Japanese material with a touch of artisanal quality — simple and pure.

Ukiyo Japanese Rice Vodka is the perfect choice for those who appreciate the purity of traditional Japanese distilling. Traditional gin botanicals also featured include the likes of juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander and cinnamon, among others. Not only are Roku Gin’s ingredients of the highest quality, many are also uniquely Japanese and, therefore, best understood by Japanese artisans.Filtered through bamboo charcoal, this spirit has a soft, subtly sweet taste with richer, grain notes. On drinking El Dorado is surprisingly dry with notes of intense brown sugar, a nutty edge and of course that coconut coming through strongly. Cardamom, bitter lemon, and mint leaves meet mango sticky rice, resinous tree sap, with a lingering sweet peppermint finish. It's super smooth, almost creamy when neat, and blends well with whatever mixer you want to throw it in.
