So many beautiful-looking books are coming out this month; I hope you find some delicious new books to read! I went into the book knowing their kinks and knowing it’s not my preference therefore I did skip quite a few of the smut, but it was always mutually consented between! The story starts off with Darla and Zeno meeting at a sex club and almost instantly they both feel something towards each other, not quite love at first say per-say but something more on the lines of an unexplainable attraction. I’m going to guide you through loops that you’re going to wish I had just skipped, but I’m not going to do that either.

His love language is giving gifts and it's just so precious to see how much attention he pays to her to know what she likes. The smut in this book was definitely on a whole other level and Darla and Zeno are definitely kinky as hell! It lighted the omphalos of my being like a rich, opalescent sky and filled my palate with the redolence of cherry martini. Zeno was just *chef's kiss* for me and Darla was a badass bitch who definitely grew A LOT as a character throughout the story.now i hate to say this, but i saw the main plot twist coming from a mile BUT some of those little secrets revealed were SHOCKING. He was the proud enforcer of the Costa Family who perhaps enjoyed the violent, bloody parts of his job a bit too much. I can't wait for the third book in the series and I hope we also get a book about Zeno's younger sister. The city of Montardor is Zeno's personal chess board and he will stop at nothing to make me his queen. Darla's character was so well written and developed (so was Zeno's character for that matter) and i loved seeing them interact together. Angelo Russo looks like an angel, but more the kind who decapitates dragons than the kind with soft white wings.Corrupted By You is one of the most surprising (in a very very good way) romance book I've ever read. Zeno is, to outside world, a cold and intimidating man, but he’s someone who would do anything to protect his family and those he loves, and it’s really shown how much he loves and cares about each of his family members with the way he would defend them and even kill for them. If you're a fan of Marzy's work, you will love the little details that she added in from older Wattpad favourite characters, to the embedded idiosyncrasies that are relevant to Marzy herself! Definitely more of an adult vibe in this book, but with the familiar touch her and I’ll kill you, forced proximity and morally grey anti-hero vibes.
