I found Dachshund Through The Snow to be well written with a solid storyline, likeable characters and a satisfying conclusion. It's uplifting, fun, engaging, and full of animals and characters who are well written and believable. Rosenfelt creates a plot which seems simple but grows into something more complicated and more dangerous as it progresses. It frustrated everyone that even though absolutely incontrovertible evidence existed to tie the killer to the crime, he was still out there, free.
