If you haven’t read this book PLEASE GO and witness the way their conversations can bore a person to death! And I just have to say… a meeting with the most dangerous men of the country in Julians house is unrealistic. i love and appreciate christian so much, i honestly just want a man to love my like christian loves daisy. And if you add the whole mess to how their relationship made no sense because there’s not a single thing in common between these two (and that’s the reason why all their conversation were all about sex and NOTHING. I liked that she made friends with women (Taura and Magnolia) but again, Taura was her first female friend but we got NOTHING about them but Magnolia filled all of Daisy‘s chapters.

Because for Julian, falling in love isn't just unwelcome - it could be deadly for everyone involved . this book would 100% have been a five-star read if i had gotten a little more daisychristian and a little less magnolia. On top of this unbearable mess with Magnolia (made worse by her usual dumb ass and whiny behavior) I’m convinced the author doesn’t know shit about how the mafia works because WHO in their right minds would hold a mafia G6 meeting in their own fucking house (which by the way the police knows very well) and survive it?Eyes are just as much trouble as they’ve always been, coloured like honey split on leaves in autumn. imo julian deserves way better than magnolia, because we all know magnolia can’t love another man like she loves beej. even tho you already know this book doesn’t have a hea, you don’t stop hoping and praying for it, you continue to hope with everything in you, but from personal experience, i can tell you that the shit doesn’t work.

and i know that there are many mixed opinions and feelings about her, but to me she’s just absolutely perfect. i think they deserve to be endgame and i actually liked daisy here, yes that blood transfusion scene was comedic and so stupid, i would rather watch greys anatomy which i have vowed to never watch. this horrible and nonsense love triangle between him, Taura and Henry needs to stop right now because WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE GIRL CAN'T CHOOSE?christian is so lover coded, if i were to ever give this book a higher rating it would be bc of him n also daisy (maybe). I enjoyed the sex tape plot and I enjoyed the few scenes with the Box Set which were not solely focused on Magnolia.

he’s probably one of the reasons why i hold such a strong grudge toward magnolia, she literally manipulated the shit out of him, and i’ll just never forgive her for that. he's the loser of the group, the spare Ballentine brother that we don't really need and she can't make a choice and stand by it for the life of her.

this series has just as much drama as the netflix series “gossip girl” has, and if you’ve watched it you know that you can’t relax for more than two minutes max, in this case, you just can’t be happy for more than two minutes max. Again, this shows that this whole book is based on Magnolia and Julian because what was the point of this scene? if j*lian haites has a 100 haters i’m one of them, if he has 10 haters i’m one of them, if he has one hater it’s me, and if he has zero haters it’s because i’m buried so deep underground my hatred is blocked by the earth’s crust.

I‘m disappointed and I hope that it‘s true that there will be two more Daisy Haites books which focus on… Daisy Haites. his povs literally ruined everything good in this book AKA the relationship thats ACTUALLY worth reading about: christian and daisy. I found myself feeling frustrated that Tiller and Daisy were drawn out for almost half of the book when that time could have been used on Daisy and Christian.the character development, the different relationship + friendship dynamics, the angst, magnolia + julian? Truthfully, I started to get a bit nervous about this book once the "promo" for it started, but we will get there. I honestly came into this book expecting to rag on him like I do for the previous books, but I had very few complaints. But ultimately, this shouldn’t even be an issue in a book that was supposed to be about Christian and Daisy.
