About this deal

To make it simple, rather than a detailed written story, a little video will explain more how the fairy works and how much the little ones will enjoy them and Why it will definitely be an excellent Christmas present for any little girl. I’ve been reading reviews online and it is a very normal problem to encounter to have your fairy get stuck up on the ceiling. We use cookies to personalise content and ads to you, to provide social media features and to analyse our traffic.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The first red flag went up when I discovered the recharging station takes a whopping six AA batteries. The Fairy can be guided by hand and not sure how she detects the ceiling and the floor but she flies up and down WITHOUT hitting the ceiling or the floor which is still an unsolved mystery for Sri. You need a little practice to learn the hand control but it is not definitely going to be a longer before you learn to guide her. Yes, this does take a high number of batteries, six to be precise however, good quality batteries have lasted the test of time and we are still currently on the same batch we started with. Both my daughters have been playing with this, they have been having contests to see who can make the fairy fly the longest without hitting the ceiling or wall and it has entertained them for a long while so far.

Spirits became confused when the fairy launched into the air and shot straight up to the ceiling, where it violently hovered, desperately trying to push past the confines of the room. Once you get the hang of using the flutterbye its as easy as riding a bike so 6 year olds will fully enjoy the challenge and achievement when mastering their pretty little fairy. So after my experience playing with the toy, I’d still say it is a really cool toy, unlike anything else we own, but it isn’t without its flaws. It was a pitiful flight, but if I had fully read the instructions I would have realized that the top of the fairy also has a sensor to help her know where the ceiling is. The connection occurs at a bit of a strange angle; it took me a minute or two just to figure that part out.My daughter loves all things fairy so when I told her she had been sent a flying fairy to review she was delighted.

This process alone makes this toy, in my opinion, one that an adult, or at least an older child, needs to be around to assist with. She wasn’t, and that’s one thing I will say that is a positive for this toy: it can take some serious licks and keep right on working. As a little girl, hopelessly addicted to My Little Pony, I could often be caught imagining far out tales for my stuffed animals and action figures, into the wee hours of the morning.

When the fairy descends put your hand under the fairies legs, it doesn’t have to be too close and she will flying upwards again. Good thing, too, because as her charge wears out she becomes a bit more erratic, and has a tendency to run into walls and crash. This is a beautiful site and love and appriciate the awareness that this site is spreading and it create such an outlet for people. No matter how many 'bed checks' Momma would do throughout the night, I'd always awaken with a figure or two clutched tightly in my hands. I had a look at the instructions and added the batteries, it does require 6 x AA batteries that are not included.
